Greenpeace Wants Billions to Starve

Last year Bill Gates via his Gates Foundation gave USD 10 million to British scientists to sort-out  a problem he hoped might help solve the looming world food crisis.

By the way this is the same Bill Gates Oxfam recently launched a hate campaign against claiming he and his ilk were simply not generous enough!

95% of his wealth going to charity is not right & fair according to the puritanical Oxfam, but back to the story.

Success of this research would potentially allow wheat, rice, corn and other global food staples to be grown in even the poorest soils of Africa, Asia and South America without the need for costly fertilisers, greatly expanding world food production.

What an admirable undertaking, only the process involved in developing more resilient plants incorporates the nemesis of eco-fascists like Greenpeace: Genetic Engineering.

In little more of an admission that hard-line dogma trumps hard pragmatism Greenpeace justified their position to see the end of this ground-breaking research by stating….

"If Mr Gates is serious about feeding the world's poor and helping us establish sustainable farming practices that will heal the environment and provide a future for humanity, he needs to look less towards GM crops and more towards nature"

"GM technology isn't about feeding the world or improving farmers' lives; it provides biotech and seed companies with the opportunity to own patents over crops and nature. It is about control of the global food system, and anyone who tells you different is lying."

In a tenuous link Greenpeace went to point out Gates has shares in Monsanto.

But a minuet fraction of Gates investments, a complete ‘green’ herring.

On this one Greenpeace is seriously fucked-up, in-fact dangerously so.

Greenpeace wants to doom billions to starve simply because their beliefs state ‘Mother Nature will triumph over Science’

Vacuous prattle won’t feed starving children.

Science can and will - given the chance.

Science Replacing Limbs '1050'

God Replacing Limbs 'Zero'

Professor Stephen Hawkings tells the bipedal primates with brains: “There is no place for God in theories on the creation of the Universe”

For the last few centuries Science and Religion have been playing the equivalent of a game of strip-poker.

Religion is now down-to-its last-vestiges of clothing (a frilly pair of woman’s panties as worn by The Pope) and Science is about to place it’s hand, a Royal Flush, on-to the table.

Rather than the conventional deck these cards come embossed with a simple statement of what is about to be revealed as fact.

GOD DID NOT CREATE UNIVERSE

Read some excepts from Hawkings new book ‘The Grand Design’:

“That makes the coincidences of our planetary conditions - the single Sun, the lucky combination of Earth-Sun distance and solar mass - far less remarkable, and far less compelling as evidence that the Earth was carefully designed just to please us human beings."

"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing.”

“Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist.”

"It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going."

Life: God has lost his monopoly

“We can only reach the conclusion that we need God, the origin of life”.

The Catholic Church has always been a bit-slow on the up-take of scientific and medical discoveries.

It took till 1992 for The Vatican to agree with the proposition that the earth was not stationary & in-fact it revolves around the sun (apparently no one there bothered watching the lunar missions or got hold of satellite photos)

So it’s hardly surprising reports heralding of a new era of era of science – synthetic DNA - were meet with disdain by this backward group.

Nothing pisses-off theists more than when the foundations of their chosen superstition are yet again proven to be rotten –using the most cutting and effective ‘sword’ possible – fact rather than fiction.

This time the venue for these historic revelations and the further debasement of religious teachings, was genome-mapping pioneer, J Craig Venters laboratory.

His team’s project paves the way for designing organisms that work differently from the way nature intended for a wide range of uses.

God has officially lost his monopoly when it comes to creating life.

Ironically, his competition happens to be his pet-creation.

Strange Creatures from Inner Space

Watch this fascinating footage, from the BBC series ‘The Blue Planet’ and be amazed!

Just utterly mind-blowing, we share the same planet as sci-fi creatures of this nature.

Be sure to watch it again.

It’s just as cool, the second time.

Wake-Up Mankind: Our understanding of the Universe is likely to change in about 7 days...

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) built at a cost of 11.5 billion New Zealand Dollars, is a 27 kilometre long, scientific instrument located underground near Geneva, where it spans the border between Switzerland and France.

The massive particle accelerator will shortly be used by physicists to study the smallest known particles – the fundamental building blocks of all things.

The hope is it will revolutionise our understanding, from the minuscule world deep within atoms, to the vastness of the Universe.

New particles of matter are expected to be discovered, new dimensions found beyond the four known, as scientists re-create conditions in the first billionths of a second after the Big Bang.

This process has been called ‘tunneling to the beginning of time’.

Mankind’s most expensive and elaborate ‘discovery machine’ goes live on September 10th 2008.

Yep, I’m excited, even if 99% of my fellow humans don’t give a rats arse.

This date may turn-out to be the most monumental, in the entire history of human endeavour!

Or it could turn-out to be multi-billion dollar flop (?) with more questions left to be answered, than the experiment answers.

Praise-be to Science.

Praise-be to all those that push the boundaries of man-kinds knowledge.

Listen-up folk’s, this is what it's all about:
