Dear Readers,

I am closing my blog ‘Canterbury Atheist’ indefinitely.

For the record, this is the 392nd post I’ve made since I started-up in April 2008.

I have a number of outside activities going on in my life – including writing a book, training for an endurance event - that are taking their toll time-wise.

Blogging is an outlet for me, but certainly not a big part of my life.

The tabloid ‘throw-away’ nature of blogs is something I constantly struggle with, find-somewhat but a short-fix and unfulfilling in the long-term scheme.

My best and most read articles have come-about after considerable research, time and effort (Examples: search, using the facility at the top-left for ‘Dalai Lama’ ‘Church of Odin’ and say ‘Zenith Applied Philosophy’)

The blogging platform is therefore limited to ‘throw-away’ articles, when I want to get into something more substantive. Not just limited to ‘free thought’ subject matter, either.

This is not the first time this blog has gone into recess, come hibernation, so I may well resurrect it, should the urges overcome me and I need to kill again, arrange the body parts geometrically and send the coppers cryptic messages taunting them.

You know you can’t trust an atheist’s word anyway.

To all my readers & even my detractors, some 250 a day, thanks for popping-by.

In the same way scientists look for the origins of The Big Bang, create devices to examine what makes-up the universe etc - why can’t theists also similarly unite and employ science to conclusively seek out their god? Prove not only conclusively that this supernatural-being exists - but go then go the next step and start communicating with him/her and then in-turn find his creator?

With the financial resources at their disposal, the ability for theists to cobble-together enough money to fund a ‘God Detector’ can’t be down to lack of money.

Even the most staunch-believer has to agree that god is made of something to be able to make planets and monitor all the goings-on on earth etc.

‘Something’ on this massive scale can surely be discovered?

My hat goes off to those hardy Cryptozoology folk.

At least those seeking out hidden/legendary extinct-animals, do so with vigor and with every resource available at their disposal.

Cryptozologists are at least bright enough to know, that without evidence their convictions are meaningless.

They seek evidence for Big-Foot or Loch Ness Monster etc and don’t just settle for the comfortable yet unsubstantial “we know it exists” in the same glib way as theists.

That’s why a single pig-headed, nut-case Cryptozoologist has more credibility than all the worlds theists put together.

There’s witchcraft in them there Carterton halls.

Wairarapa appears to be a hotbed of paganism (strange, I seem to have been left off their invite list to this years midnight Satanic orgy?) and the sleepy town of Carterton is the vortex for this shameless devil-worship.

This coven of devil-worshippers was exposed when the towns-library was temporarily housed in the local Masonic Lodge.

As every good Christian knows those goat-molesting Freemasons are in league with Beelzebub and Reverend John Cromarty from St David’s Church in Carterton wants the mayor to close the temporary library being run out of the lodge – least it corrupts the population.

In his letter to the town mayor Cromarty spells-out the evils of Freemasonry and the potential dangers of being exposed to its dark-craft.

"Freemasonry, while it does good works in the community, is based upon the worship of pagan gods,"

“While it portrays a facade as being compatible to Christianity in its teaching, it has its foundation rooted in witchcraft and pre-Christian teachings and practice."

The reply from Cartertons mayor, Gary McPhee, to Reverend Cromarty’s complaints could have been penned by yours-truly, given its acerbic nature.

McPhee told Cromarty in his open reply he was "stuck in the wrong century" and "We are now in the 21st century but clearly some people didn't move along with us."

Looking at the retard in the photo above (check-out the jutting jaw and small cranium) – I have to agree with McPhee’s line of reasoning on this one, but he appears to have let diplomacy get the better of his vitriol.

After closer examination of Reverend John ‘Missing-Link’ Cromarty’s photo, I would place that period of time closer-to 400,000 years ago when Homo Neanderthalensis roamed the planet, rather than mere centuries.

David Marbus turns-out to be a Canadian called Dennis Markuze and he’s a lot younger than I expected.

But then again I should have guessed he was closer to 30 than 50 when I had in front of me the stunning truth that Nostradamus predicted the formation of the group Depeche Mode and that somehow in-turn lead to September 11th.

If you ask me his jacket is more Spandau Ballet than Depeche Mode and the later have penned more than fair share of atheist anthems as it happens – not that DM is aware of much happening in the real world outside his Montreal bedroom.

Markuze also seems to like the Japanese horror-film ‘The Ring’ from other rants I’ve seen over the years – hardly suprising since I don’t think he gets out much of his parents house, except to fill-up his prescription.

The time for popes to show their magic is when they are alive – not dead.

Part of the all-but automatic beatification process of a pope and the road to his sainthood, is evidence of a credible miracle.

To gain sainthood a pope must show they are in-effect a kind of middleman ‘lightening rod’ on earth for their god called Yahweh.

Invariably this anecdotal evidence when provided is flimsy at best, and placed-on the-table long after their deaths.

No one seems to care that when someone is alive they are never able to display their magic-tricks and never, but never, in an open-public forum or say under scientific scrutiny.

If the current pope is to show us the power of god channeled through his form – why not stump-up with the goods right now rather than later when he is dead and buried?

Why doesn’t The Catholic Church show us Benedict is literally ‘gods emissary’ by showing-us now, rather than decades later, his miracle, so we can examine it in the harsh light of day?

The time for Benedict to show us his magic, say regeneration of a severed limb, is now - but there sweat FA chance of that happening.

That would lead the entire public and scientific community playing the devils advocate.

Burning books is a long-held Religious Tradition

The images and act of book-burning is etched in our psyches as being a formative part of National Socialist Germany - when copies of anything from Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud to H.G Wells went-up in flames.

Yet, the sordid history of book burning pre-dates 1930’s Germany by centuries and still goes-on all too frequently even today.

Catholics in particular love nothing better than to destroy the writings of anyone that upsets their narrow sensibilities.

In their hey-day The Spanish Inquisition relished burning Korans & any other Islamic text they could lay their hands on.

Virtually the entire writings of the Mayan Civilization were destroyed with perverted pleasure by The Catholic Church.

For good measure nearly every Cathar text that could be found by The Catholic Church were also destroyed as well.

This fruit-loop pastor Terry Jones would have to build a bonfire the size of the state of Florida to come close to the Catholic Churches suppression of free-thought and alternative beliefs through-out the ages.

It was only four years ago Catholics in Rome and Manila decided Dan Browns ‘Da Vinci Code’ deserved being BBQed.

Whist doubtlessly top-of-the-pyre for destroying writings that threatened their self-appointed place in the world, The Catholic Church is not alone amongst religious zealotry when it comes to book-burning.

The evil texts of Harry Potter and Superman Comics have gone up in flames lit by evangelists.

In the 1980’s orthodox Jews in Jesuleum incinerated New Testaments by the score.

More copies of Salman Rusdies ‘Satanic Verses’ were probably destroyed than read.

The Taliban also did what the Taliban does best.

Bishop Tamaki’s ‘spiritual’ father turns out to be a raving-homo!

The fallout-out (or would “blow-out” be a more appropriate term of phrase given the subject matter?) from Bishop Eddie Long rent-a-choir-boy affair has reached New Zealand.

And the stains (of the type not even modern washing-powers will remove) have reached the crocodile shoes of our own self-proclaimed bishop, Brian Tamaki.

Bishop Long, or as his rent-a-choir-boys got to call him ‘Big Ed’, journeyed down-under in 2003 after the year prior Tamaki had made it to Atlanta for some well-earned R&R.

2003 was a spiritual journey at the behest of Tamaki who runs New Zealand’s version of a mega-church, Destiny. Rather than being a double-meat wopper burger like say Longs ‘Birth Ministry’ Destiny would be better termed as one of those crappy small cheese-burgers McDonalds have. Soggy in the middle and with a tacky outer wrapping.

This trip and the ‘connection’ (not in a biblical sense one presumes?) Tamaki had with Long is out-lined in his autobiography. I think it’s in the section just after he admits fathering children out of wedlock?

In the chapter rather appropriately titled, given what now we know happens behind the scenes at The Birth Ministry, “Spiritual Father – a long time coming” Tamaki waxes lyrical over Long and his set-up. In case you get confused that’s the set-up of Longs organisation rather than the ‘set-up’ where he befriends teen boys, lavishes them with gifts and attention – then sodomises them.

In the most Freudian of statements possible, Tamaki goes-on to say in his bio:

"I was a little taken aback by his embracing nature and the manner with which he greeted each and every one of us as if we were long lost brothers."

"I was impressed, yet the ease of our connection and the confirmation of a date was entirely in line with Kingdom principle - when God speaks, do it,"

Clearly when Longs felt the urge for “a connection” he didn’t have to look far to “do it.”

Tamaki is apparently going to issue a statement today about ‘Big Ed’ Long in which no doubt he’ll say he’s praying for him and to return the christening gifts.

The outward vestiges of Catholicism’s wealth and immortality is; The Vatican Bank.

The Vatican Bank is not a bank in the same terms that define first-tare global financial institutions, such as the one you and I hold accounts at.

This bank operates at a level that would make an Internet finance company in the Bahamas with a P.O Box for an address, look like The Bank of England.

That is to say The Vatican Bank functions in the global financial under-belly, well outside the controls of normal EU/U.S regulations, governmental controls and more importantly for 'Gods bankers' as far away from ‘the grasp of the law’ as possible.

Those holding an account at The Vatican Bank fall loosely into three categories (a.) Catholic Churches and clergy (b.) Criminals (c.) Tax Evaders.

Which depositor is which, is frankly hard to tell.

Over the years many a regulator and media-commentator has wanted to know “who is actually running the bank - it's biggest clients, The Mafia or The Catholic Church itself?

When it comes to symbiotics like The Vatican Church and Italian Mafia, a quick look at historic-record shows the line between both groups is some-what blurred.

The Vatican Bank was formed in the middle of WW2 and made its initial wealth by accepting tainted funds from the deceased bank accounts & riches of Europe’s Jewish population, acquiesced by corrupt regimes - such as the one that gave the Vatican the very statehood it now uses to avoid prosecution and act beyond international law. The relatives of the Holocaust victims are still trying to recover those stolen ‘blood’ monies six decades later.

Money laundering still remains the main ‘money-making’ activity of The Institute for Works of Religion (the banks technical name) to this day. This week we learnt its current head, not for the first time in its sordid history, has just been caught-out by Italian officials for what is by their terms is a paltry 20 million Euros of illegal transactions.

As a financial institution that will take monies ‘no questions asked’ operating with the luxury of having a board which has immunity from prosecution, and no need to open its books to public scrutiny, The Vatican Bank has been and always will be the bank of choice to the criminal underworld as well as your run-of-the-mill despotic regime. Catholic dictators Pinochet's and Noriega knew full-well where to safely place their ill-gotten gains. They left it amongst comrades in faith. Hopefully they got a discounted rate.

Criminal fraternity’s ranging from the local Sicilian mafia, right through to Central & South American drug syndicates, also have accounts with The Vatican Bank, much to the chagrin of global law enforcement who are powerless to seize the profits of their criminal enterprise once it goes into the same vaults which still holds Nazi gold and valuables stolen literally in some cases from the corpses of Holocaust victims.

It is on public-record The Vatican Banks ‘cut’ on the Gambino crime-families drug-money was a straight 50% - so ‘laundering’ is a very profitable business for The Institute for Works of Religion and ultimately the Catholic Church - it’s sole shareholder and benefactor from its secretive venal activities.

If you wanted to 'knock a hole' in the worlds illicit drug trade and organised crime the biggest single-thing any government/policing-organisation could do -would be to dissemble The Vatican Bank.

The Vatican Bank (read: Catholic Church) aids and abets global money laundering on a massive scale and remains an integral part of the multi-billion dollars international drug trade, acts with impunity as a ‘financial life-raft’ for corrupt dictatorships and happily deals with any criminal desperado & tax dodger with money to hide from their respective authorities.

It’s hardly surprising The Vatican Bank gets caught-out now and again given its modus-operandi, scale of corrupt activities, dubious nature of its clientele and total lack of scruples of the people involved – especially its head.

Try picturing RATzinger acting like a crazed ecumenical Scrooge McPope, divested of robes and running naked deep-within the bowels (now there's an appropriate turn of phrase if ever there was one) of the cavernous church vaults. Squealing in proverbial joy as those tainted 'pieces of silver' run through his grubbied fingers and dribbling in anticipation as his favourite choir-boy climbs al naturale up to join-him on-top-of the mountains of illicit loot not even L.Ron Hubbard could place one of his enormous figures on. Becoming erect when he finds a gold-bar embossed with a Nazi swastika amongst the money-mountain.

I wanted to know “What will happen to a soul when we have brain transplants?”

Clearly this day will happen sooner rather than later so this question is more than being merely a hypothetical one.

Sadly no one has even attempted to answer this ponder-able.

Why isn’t there anyone who believes in the concept of a soul that can give me an answer?

I am therefore doubling my efforts to get an answer by re-posting it here in the hope there is a simple answer to what-is a simple question.

Burglar finds Atheism and avoids Jail

A burglar who walked into Hamilton police station and confessed his crimes after rejecting religion has avoided a prison term.

Neum Muliaumasealii, 24, was sentenced at Hamilton District Court yesterday to three months community detention and 50 hours community work after admitting burgling four properties, including the home of a friend between 2005 and 2007 , The Waikato Times reported.
Muliaumasealii also admitted to four counts of theft, breaking into cars during an international rugby match to steal car stereos.

The court was that in March he went to the police station to confess his crimes prompted by his "new found lack of religious beliefs" and a desire for a "clean slate".

"It's really your conscience which has led you to appear before the court today," Judge Glen Marshall told Miliaumasealii

He said a prison sentence would normally be an option for his offending but gave him credit for changing his ways.

Would it alarm you to know World Vision only employs Christians or believers in The Old Testament God? Indeed if you sign-on as an employee to World Vision and then, either by the act of apostasy, or simply losing your faith altogether – you are automatically fired. World Vision in effect practices religious discrimination. Atheists are amongst those unwelcome in their ranks.

Would you continue to support World Vision knowing it funds Christian Schools and religious-education programmes and that World Vision and sees the distribution of bibles as being as integral & intrinsic part of their activities as food-aid?

World Vision in-action Bibles for Albanian kids who according to WV’s Magazine “(a country) that struggled to provide spiritual education for young Christians after the fall of communism due to a dearth of learning materials.”

Did you know World Vision is considered by U.S Courts to be, in legal terms: a ‘Religious Corporation?’ and further a religious group first and an aid-group second?

Does it make you uncomfortable knowing the CEO of World Vision has an income twice that of New Zealand’s prime-minister?

World Vision doesn’t like to promote its Christian evangelism here in New Zealand, least it scares away potential supporters, but it is all there on their web site if you care to look in the fine-print:

“We co-operate with local church leadership. This must be appropriate in the context of the programme. The families in these communities are given an opportunity for Christian education appropriate to their own culture but it's their choice to participate”

Now, picture a starving person saying “no thanks” to a Bible lesson when the person undertaking the proselytising is the same-one distributing the food & shelter for you and your family? This isn’t just a captured market – it is one that would worship Spike Milligan if it meant filling their bellies.

World Vision rejects the exploitation tag trying to get the public to believe its own company line that:

“World Vision affirms and defends the right of all Christians and faith-based organisations, including our own staff and World Vision itself, to witness through their lives, words and deeds”

“Accepting Christ must be a free decision based on consideration and judgment”

Starving beggars can in-fact be choosers in World Visions opinion.

World Vision.com is even more forth-right in letting the public know where a part of their donations are going and also give-us an insight into their DNA make-up:

“Mankind has a spiritual dimension that also needs to be addressed. World Vision works with local partners, including churches, to organise summer camps, religious celebrations, including Christmas and Easter and the distribution of children's study literature on the Bible, church traditions and history, to nurture this dimension. We support local churches as part of the community to help them carry out these activities in the longer term”

So long-after the disaster, well after the village has got on its feet and the population has the ability to feed themselves again - World Vision remains on the ground simply to propagate the teachings of Jesus Christ – using the money secular-suckers gave thinking it was for food, water and housing etc – all teary the stuff that features on the adverts.

In the majority of cases, those that sponsor a child with World Vision are paying for that child to learn about Noah and his Ark and Jonah and The Whale.

World Vision even has enough money from donors to publish its own Christian propaganda for its in-house (re)education programmes.

This book (above) is advertised on World Vision Resources as being ‘designed so leaders can integrate individual parts into a regular Sunday school or Bible class curriculum or use an entire lesson to fill a full class hour’. I mean why bother filling a child’s mind with math’s and science, eh?

Being a multi-national religious corporate with 40,000 employees World Vision even runs the equivalent of its own Travel Department.

Rest easy knowing your monthly donation has gone to help WV workers get a bit of well needed R&R with a travel-package entitled “Leadership of the Holy Land Tour”. Apparently it includes all ‘the’ great Biblical sites. According to none other than “Steve Haas (VP & Chief Catalyst, for World Vision and I’m bemused as you are at the title) The holiday in The Middle East is “An encounter that will stretch and provide you with insights on how to lead your church more effectively. It will also provide a life-line to those of our Christian family that remain in this turbulent region of the world.” Don’t worry if The Middle East isn’t your thing – there's plenty of other tours available to a whole range of countries. Chile appears popular.

In Summary:

Whatever you do - don’t give World Vision one cent!

Don’t feel a shred of guilt ignoring their ‘heart-string’ adverts, safe in the knowledge you are not helping prop-up their CEO’s base-salary of NZD 500,000 per annum – plus bonus’s. These bonus’s bump-him-up another NZD 150,000 by the way. How many Child Sponsorships will NZD 650,000 get ya I wonder? Its head in Australia, a Baptist minister, gets a base salary of a cool AUD 250,000 – plus again the obligatory bonus’s. This-is after-all an American religious corporation first, and pays its executives well.

Just as importantly make-sure your child’s school does-not participate in their fashionable money-maker called ’The 40 Hour Famine’. Write to your school board and say it is wrong to raise funds for a multi-national religious corporation that shamelessly discriminates against non-Christians.

* Toddlers were considered ‘fair game’. Girls as young as two were raped.

* The worst of the abuse was in the 60’s and 70’s and its decrease in later decades was only down to fewer priests being involved in the education system.

* The Bishop of Bruges, Roger Vangheluwe, was in on the score. He kept his known abuse closer to home by raping his nephew. The Church tried to bribe the victim’s family to keep them quiet.

* When confronted with overwhelming evidence of this mass-abuse the Church tried to cover it up and Police were forced to break into Church offices to locate records. The Church employed lawyers to fight this seizure and won a case for the raids to be considered illegal – thus successfully burying the true scale of their crimes.

* 13 known victims were so traumatised by their abuse they later committed suicide.

* The Vatican knew what was going-on and left them to it.

How do Catholic apologists respond to facts like this?

By saying these cases were isolated and no worse than the rest of society?

Well that’s the same erroneous and vacuous excuse given by the incestuous pedophile who was in charge of the Church when these crimes against humanity were being perpetrated.

It had all the hallmarks of a hoax and on closer inspection my suspicions were proven right.

I simply googled ‘Doug Copps Earthquake’ and was greeted with page after page of rebuttals.

Even Wikipedia had a own page dedicated to exposing Mr Copp’s controversial and mostly dis-proven theories, on how to survive a earthquake.

In short anyone who took Copps advice at face-value and employed-it during a major earthquake, shunning the ‘Duck and Cover’ tactics, would be increasing their chances of being injured or killed.

Nearly every-time there is major earthquake around the globe the ubiquitous Copp turns-up – uninvited – and generally makes a nuisance of himself.

The team alluded to in the name ARTI is more than often just Copp on his lonesome with his own range of life-saving equipment.

Having failed to convince every credible search and rescue organisation on the planet about his ‘theories’ the prolific Copp resorts to self-promotion via gullible media outlets and the internet.

The Allan Hubbard Conspiracy

This week South Canterbury Finance was placed into receivership and the taxpayer came to the rescue of its mum & pop investors (read: National Party stalwarts)

Despite what has been portrayed by vested-interest groups, mostly south of the Rakaia River, there was and is no conspiracy here in the form of neo-fascist Serious Fraud Office interrogating Hubbard and his wife like a scene from ‘The Deer Hunter.’

No evil, malicious government at work trying to destroy the reputation of an elderly and much revered ‘God fearing’ businessman.

SCF and the intertwined companies lent money to people who couldn’t pay back the interest & who were sitting on depreciating assets many of which now have values less than the loans taken, some near worthless - all at a time when the world economies were in a tail-spin.

Another ‘nail in the coffin’ were the investors who, prudently as it turns-out, pulled their money-out on maturity date rather than re-investing it. Thus the day to day operating cash needed to operate, dried-up.

This scenario in South Canterbury Finance is little different than the demise of other finance companies we have seen lately.

If you lend investors money to a 2nd hand car yard, a pub, a land developer or a dairy conversion group in Waimate etc and the recipients can’t pay back the loan – then make these bad choices time after time - the end result is the same. The bad investments drag- down the good and it all turns pear-shaped.

In the case of South Canterbury finance they made around $600 million of bad calls.

Cries that the fatal-demise of this South Canterbury institution would seriously harm the local Canterbury economy ring-hollow when we (its new default share-holders) learnt about the scope of its bad debts, much of which evaporated in the metro-sexual haunts of Auckland’s viaduct, Marlborough Vineyards, Luxury Apartments in Queenstown, a Resort in Fiji and even the ubiquitous Dave Henderson got his mitts on SCF’s investors loot.

$700 to $800 million went into what NBR termed ‘non viable building projects.’

It was those who made the bad-calls to loan other-peoples life-savings, money to these defaulting parties who are at fault and not the SFO, evil public servants in Wellington.

To quote SCF’s Chief Executive Sandy Maier “South Canterbury’s failure is a result of its own actions and activities and poor decisions historically.”

The fact that one director of a failed finance company lead a more frugal existence, went to church on Sunday, donates to SPCA etc and his failed contemporaries were hedonistic flash Aucklanders driving Mercs means nothing to me as a tax-payer. The end result of their respective business’s is the same – blood on the ground and the tax-payer left holding the can without getting any say.

Why New Zealanders should feel any sympathy for the Directors of SCF versus say Hanover Finance is beyond me?

In-fact Hanover’s melt-down didn’t bleed every New Zealander to the tune of $400 each, just it’s share-holders - which is the way it should be in a capitalist economy.

For the record I never invested in any of these defunct finance companies – yet there is not only people wanting me to pay for other peoples bad choices - on top of that, there is also an element who want me to cry crocodile tears at the way Mr & Mrs Hubbard have been treated as well!

By-in-large the ungrateful National voting investors in SCF weren’t happy with the conservative returns offered by Trading Banks or the volatility of the share-market. The investors of SCF were happy taking the high-returns but squealed like pigs to gutless politicians when their money disappeared down the tubes.

For those misguided souls that still worship the cult of Hubbard here’s a message - why-not dip-into your own pockets & the moment you can re-invest in South Canterbury Finance & Aorangi Securities again – do so- if this is as you suggest a matter of principal and such a vital asset worth saving?

After-all the best thing his supporters and fellow parishioners can do to show solidarity with Hubbard and his fellow directors is, the moment statutory management is lifted, to place your money in South Canterbury Finance, Aorangi Securities etc (or for that matter one of the hundreds of companies Hubbard is a director in – there’s a couple of hundred from all accounts)

So if you truly back Allan Hubbard forget posting empty platitudes on Facebook sites and instead have the fortitude to take your own money out of your own bank account and not mine.

Forget the holiday on The Gold Coast, sell the boat, caravan, house, pets, send the kids up chimneys etc & the give all your worldly wealth to that honest & benevolent financial genius Allan Hubbard and his ably qualified & proven team at SCF to prudently invest on your behalf.

Say finish off that resort in Fiji that is languishing.

So when the September 11th hijackers praised God as they crashed their planes causing the deaths of 3,000 innocent victims – the God they exalted is the same one worshipped at your local Baptist or Catholic church.

Bin Laden and The Archbishop of Canterbury adulate the same God.

Glenn Beck and The Taliban exalt the same God.

The Pope and wacko Mullah Omar pray to the same supreme-being.

When you put it in this context it’s easy to see they are all bonkers!

Catholic Church harboured Priest at centre of Terrorist Cell

In July of 1973 three car bombs went off in the sleepy Northern Ireland village of Claudy.

The death toll was nine, including children.

Hundreds were injured.

The mastermind of this atrocity was a Northern Ireland Catholic Priest and IRA sympathiser, Fr James Chesney.

In the just released Police ombudsman’s report, 38 years after the terrorist attack, it has been revealed The Catholic Church on both sides of the Irish border knew of Chesney’s murderous role and further-more protected the priest from prosecution.

In damning revelations information has come to light that explosive traces had been found in the boot of Fr Chesney's parish car when he was stopped at an RUC checkpoint in September 1972.

When implicated Chesney gave false testimony to cover-up for himself and his co-conspirators. Similar to cases of pedophilia once ‘the heat went on’ The Catholic Church, under the auspice of it’s then head Cardinal William Conway, conspired to spirit Chesney south to a new position and out of the reaches of the authorities and justice.

The report also reveals that Chesney continued his ‘IRA activities’ in his new diocese - all with full knowledge of those in authority of The Church – who did nothing to stop him or turn him over to Police.

Not unsurprisingly The Irish Catholic Church have long refused, much to the chagrin of victims families, to release its files on their role in harbouring and aiding this terrorist in their midst.

Further proof the Irish Catholic Church knew and abetted in the deaths of eight people and their tacit support of IRA aspirations.

The case for Open-Minded Parents

A few years ago one of my daughter’s mates asked if she would accompany her to a ‘Holiday Camp’ over an extended weekend.

This ‘Holiday Camp’ was run by a local church and there would be a modicum of indoctrination occurring in between the outdoor activities.

This was spelt-out on the info sheet my wife and I were handed, along with a form to sign.

The prothletesing we are talking about here was along the lines of happy-clappy dancing and singing praises to a god of which my daughter was totally unfamiliar. Colouring-in pictures of Jesus and listening to Bible stories etc. Strange as it may sound, these are not the sort of everyday activities that go-on in our household.

In short - I had no problem with her attending this Camp and filled-in the section on the parental permission form under ‘religious affiliation’ with ‘not applicable’ and off she went.

As far as I’m aware she enjoyed the experience.

There was certainly no discernable change in her personality on her return, nor did I question her as to the goings-on other than a cursory open-ended “How did it go?”

Now picture this same scenario in a different light.

1.)The parents of a Muslim child are given the same invite
2.)The parents of Christian child are asked to attend an openly atheist camp

What do you think the chances are of their child attending would be?

How do they explain to a twelve year-old the reasons they can’t go is “these are not people we want you to mix with.” and “we are X and they are Y”?

Why didn’t I feel threatened and yet a Muslim and Christian given the same circumstances would?

Does Christianity flourish in America because Americans are simply more ignorant than the average Westerner?

I know this heading will attract vitriol and I’m not posting this to be deliberately inflammatory.

So don’t take it personally.

I live in a small remote country called New Zealand. The standard of living, average incomes etc of the average Kiwi are way less than in The United States.

However what we lack economically when measured against the largest economy in the world we tend to make-up in education, ability to adapt and a high degree of worldliness.

By in large New Zealanders know what’s going-on around the world and try to assist as best we can.

N.Z cares say about disasters happening in remote places.

N.Zers can even place these remote places on a map.

I think we ‘box above our weight.’

Cutting to the chase - in all my considerable travels I have yet to meet a more insular people than your average American (the states I’ve visited include CA, WA, CO, OH, IL, MA, NY, NJ and TX) I can say this hand-on-heart.

In my experience most Americans could not place New Zealand on a map nor for that matter answer a basic general knowledge question like “name a famous Englishman?”

I would more likely have more luck getting an answer to that question from a person from China or Brazil than I would a so-called educated American.

Americans only care about America and their own little myopic world.

The result from the Eastern Conference game would mean more to the average ‘Joe-Bloggs’ than the current humanitarian disaster in Pakistan.

This “don’t ask questions” and “never get outside the square” environment is the breeding ground and bedrock of all religions.

Religions flourish in countries where ignorance is endemic, the peoples never get to meet anyone else and see other perspectives on life.

This explains why America is still so into God, when in other comparable countries the populations are leaving churches in droves.

Christchurch Church Charity bans Atheists!

Struggling to keep-up with demand from Christchurch’s poor to deliver food parcels, Kerry Bensemann’s (above) quasi-church charity ‘0800 Hungry’ has appealed to fellow Christians to assist the group.

These appeals to local Christians to become volunteers have largely fallen on deaf-ears and Bensemann is appalled at this apathy.

So without prompting sympathetic ‘non-Christians’ have stepped into the breech and said “Kerry we’ll help you sort out the food parcels and deliver them and we don't need God to talk us into it, like you."

But the pig-headed Bensemann is openly refusing to accept any volunteer who will not adhere to his dogma stating “I know it sounds really, really stupid, but you’ve got to understand how we’re set up.”

'Set-up' means the voices Bensemanns head commanding him to do Gods bidding's, in much the same way David Berkowitz heard his neighbours Labrador command him to go on a killing spree.

This stunning-refusal by the 0800 Hungry to accept help from the non-religious, was exposed in last Saturdays ‘Press’ newspaper & will in-effect all-but signal the end of Bensemann’s charity in its current form.

Naively Bensemann’s stand to prevent non-Christian participation, has signaled the beginning of the end of the charity.

He and his team have seemingly forgotten that 0800 Hungry relies on donations from the entire community.

The public can now see that 0800 Hungry is little more than a front for Bensemann’s church to recruit membership, from both with-in his circle of volunteers who arrive from other churches and the recipients of his charity.

The reason why other churches have largely ignored his appeals to help is they see 0800 Hungry as a rival & for good reason.

Atheists and non-Christians now see 0800 Hungry as a bunch of born-again bigots more interested in self-serving recruitment than genuine assistance to the needy.

More-ever Atheists as a group are incapable of charity according to those behind 0800 Hungry who are in regular contact & first-name basis with God.

In this piece of vitriol quoted in the paper Bensemann sums ups his group low opinion of Atheists using this analogy “It’s like sending someone who plays ping-pong out to play for The All Blacks.”

The losers will be the poor.

Afghanistan is fucked-up and always will be.

Last night New Zealand lost its first Serviceman in Afghanistan.

This is a sad day for all New Zealanders, and my heart goes out to the family.

Our countries role in Afghanistan is largely confined to reconstruction work – building roads, bridges and schools etc all of which comes at a cost to the New Zealand tax-payer.

Humanitarian assistance supplied to a country that lacks a shred of humanity.

Similar to every brave soldier who has been killed in this despotic, shit-hole of a country – the death of Lieutenant Timothy Andrew O'Donnell was a needless loss.

That’s him pictured above, the photo was taken-on the day he was decorated for bravery in Timor.

History tells us Afghanistan is an inherently corrupt. fickle and dangerous country.

It always has been and always will be, with or without overseas troops.

Afghanis live largely a patriarchal & superstitious existence - conditions that more resemble medieval times than a modern society you and I would recognise. One village hates the next village in the next valley, xenophobic tribes hate anyone who doesn’t share their gene pool, and to this heady-mix of hostile benevolence – you add the war-like, sexist teachings of Mohammad.

The way Afghan society is set-up perpetuates this system and a change of government here and there changes nothing at ground-level.

New Zealand has learnt, in the harshest fashion, the endemic problem of operating in Afghanistan.

Finish building a hospital in a township one day, and then have the recipients of this charity try-to-blow your brains-out the next.

Basically Afghanistan is a basket-case.

It can only change when its people show a will to do so, and to this date there has been scant indication this will happen in your or my life-times.

The best thing our respective Governments can do is contaminate Afghanistan’s borders with nuclear waste and prevent anyone entering or leaving the place on foot.

Patrol its mountainous borders at arms-length with a massive fleet of airborne drones with specific instructions to ‘shoot to destroy’ anything that moves.

Afghanistan is fucked-up because the people who live there are fucked-up.

10 Reasons Why Ghosts Don’t Exist.

Only the gullible and those that have mandates to substantiate the after-life believe in ghosts and the paranormal.

Ghosts are simply wishful thinking and a convenient excuse for explaining ‘what goes bump in the night.’

Proving ghosts are a man-made psychosis is in-fact very simple.

1.) Ghosts come in one form – that just happens to be human - which is conveniently what we bipedal-chimps want to see, and not say a dead cow hovering at the end of ones bed. Have you ever heard of the legend of oceans being haunted by ghostly plankton?

2.) Ghosts just happen to be nocturnal, preferring night-time to ‘do their thing’. So when you die you suddenly become adverse to daylight – right?

3.) Like the popular bug-eyed Aliens, modern ghosts are all stereotypical, with the same looks and characteristics. The standard ghost or spectre in China is that of a Chinaman. The standard ghost in an Inuit community resembles the locals and not a six foot six black-man.

4.) Purportedly ghosts have the ‘magical’ capabilities to travel through walls, levitate etc. Powers they didn’t have when they were alive. They move objects all the time – but never get behind the wheels of a car and drive, type a letter on a computer or light-up a Bensons and Hedges. When it comes to interacting with humans all ghosts want to do is scare the shit out of the living in the dead of night or flash their tits at us in photos. Aimless activity, no-one has been able to detect with any surety.

5.) Ghosts are allergic to large crowds. ‘The Ghost of Super Bowl’ or ‘The Ghost of F.A Cup’ – I don’t think so.

6.) Ghosts love hotels and pubs. When you die you head immediately to ‘your local’ for a pint. How else could you explain the disproportionately high number of pubs that are haunted? And it’s always old pubs that act as magnets to the living dead, rather than a Five Star Hilton.

7.) If you can walk through walls why don’t you simply drop through the floor as well?

8.) Why aren’t all ghosts totally naked?

9.) Seeing that potentially we living-humans share the planet with 60 billion spirits, comprising all of humanities dead – where do these hordes of living-dead spend their time? I mean where do they live? Caves? The bottom of the ocean? The stratosphere? Six to a house?

10.) Last but not least – there is not a shred of evidence.

There is of course life after death – just not for the dead people.

Readers of this mornings ‘Press’ were greeted with the headlines ‘Christchurch – it’s a spooky town’ and a new re-hashed self proclaimed group of ‘paranormal investigators’ (photo above)

Their web site is http://www.ghosthunters.co.nz/ , which upon examination gives its mailing address as a post office box in Motueka (a town more renowned for its illicit drug trade rather than being a hotbed of living-dead)

This isn’t the first time our local newspaper has pandered to this motley-crew, comprised largely of what appears to be the over-imaginative, dateless and desperate.

Still everyone knows when creeping shadows, unidentifiable sounds combine with a journalist after a sensationalist story – it’s gotta be a ghost!

This is their head ghost-hunter, Anton Heyrick, pictured at the former Addington Prison, just a couple of months back.

Now one would suppose The Press may well have had the fortitude to ask Anton exactly what they had found in terms of evidence in their earlier search for apparitions at the Addington site, before their four-man team charged around other supposedly haunted sites in Canterbury.

But they didn’t need to ask a rational and logical question like that, now did they?

Along with the readers, of what was formerly was called a newspaper but is now little more than a tabloid - they already knew the answer to the million-dollar question “Hey fella, what have you found so far in terms of evidence?”

So far they found fucking nothing and they will find sweat fuck-all in terms of the after-life in any other places they care to stake-out – be it in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Outer Mongolia or the back-blocks of The Amazon.

This is why: ghosts & spirits don’t exist.

The idea of ‘spirits’ or ‘gods’ stranded in a parallel existence, from which they communicate with those of the living with special abilities or can be detected by equipment purchased at Dick Smith Electronics, has in principal been about since time immemorial. The Delphic Oracle any one?

Life after death is a man-made invention.That’s why only dead humans communicate from an after-life, rattle chains in 13th century castles, and we don’t hear the barks from the deceased family Labrador coming from its old kennel.

If you believe in an afterlife and the ability for the 60 billion dead spirits to communicate (and seemingly so, only via psychics who charge for the privilege) with the 10 billion humans alive today and in some form survive-death, you must therefore believe that at some level:

*That every living minute of your life, is being snooped on by at least ten spirit beings, and they take an interest in you. Yes, that includes every time you have a piss, shag the wife, go to sleep etc. Why would these spirits be remotely interested in the mundane lives of you and me, when they can say voyeur the day to day activities of the drummer for Green Day? Following this logic is say Paris Hiltons shower room, the place to be in spooksville?

* What happens when the last living contact of these spirits dies? Who do they go around and watch then? Miss Hilton’s bed-room or the set of the next Porn Blockbuster - the living-world is your oyster. Why the fuck waste a single minute in a fucking re-converted Jail in Christchurch?

* All spirits apparently speak the same language, which fortunately means they avoid taking a crash Berlitz course in Serbo-Croation etc, the moment they pass-over.

* When you die you always prefer a crappy old building to live, the more derelict and unattractive the better. Ever heard of the ghost wandering the passages of the six-star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai?

* In the after-life you retain the physical appearance and body at the moment of your death. With all those old people floating round it must be a fairly quite in the ‘after life’ and the zimmer-frame franchise-holder would be doing a roaring trade, along with sales in Viagra. Put it this way, I wouldn’t be opening a night-club in the next life. I pity the likes of Douglas Bader and invalids who must crawl their way through eternity - what a miserable existence it must be for these poor sods.

*If you are decapitated or placed in a vat of acid, you can still magically communicate and still keep your entire human-form when paranormal investigators open the cupboard you are hiding-in. Wow! Still on the positive, this leads to the conclusion that there's still hope for the ugly people in the after-life.

* The dead must take night classes. That’s so that when a bronze-aged peasant is called upon to communicate with a modern psychic, they know what say a ‘radio’ or ‘car’ is.

Lets be frank - the whole idea of dead talking to the living, spirits wandering spooky old houses is a load of crap.Those who claim to talk to the dead are nothing but crude charlatans with over active imaginations and a gift for cold-reading.

Those that chase ghostly spirits in the hope of finding evidence that when they die they get a second shot at things, are delusional and should get down to the pub and engage in sex more often (masturbation doesn’t count either)

In other-words start enjoying their one & only shot at life!

Let’s demand a separate system of Medical Care for Theists.

If we at all are honest as a society, we’d be open and say theist hypocrisy knows no bounds.

When are ‘we’ , the growing percentage of non-superstitious in New Zealand society, going to start say “enough is enough” and ‘return-fire’ using ironically the same rights Christians (and their allies) oh so conveniently see as theirs alone?

Let’s use these very-same ‘rights’ to bite them in the arse!

Time after time we’ve seen groups of Christians fighting every-step of the way to prevent medical breakthroughs, such as we see currently with stem-cell research and medicine.

As soon as medical/scientific advancements are in conflict with religion, like stem-cell is currently - castigation and obtrusion occurs.Protest is of course every-ones right, but later in the passage of time these evangelical protests are always proven to be self-centred platitudes, shown by history to be primordially laughable.

Inevitably what happens is at some later stage these very same protesters, or their loved-ones, needs to seek the same treatment they and their anointed representatives rallied so hard against.These two-faced, hypocrites have no compulsion seeking such treatment either.

On the other-hand God-fearing luddites are perfectly happy for others to be denied access to medical treatments, even if it means a miserable life or premature death for some other poor unfortunate – but only, if they themselves are not afflicted.

So as before you read my proposal, don’t feel any sort of compassion towards theists, for these very same individuals want to rob you and your closest of one of the basis rudiments of modern life - all to protect their beliefs. Always keep in the back of your mind, theists want their beliefs to over-ride yours – even if it means watching your own child die in a pitiless painful, fashion – when a cure is available, but denied to you because of their ancient superstitions.

Large tracts of so-called ‘loving’ Jesus followers in this country, want to deny childless couples the opportunity to have a family using medical treatments.

Cutting to the chase, what I’m suggesting is where resources are stretched in the health system, care is given to those who will appreciate it & respond. This is the same as an oncologist who opts to treat a non-smoking lung-cancer patient, ahead of one who continues to puff away.Therefore our health-system already rations medical care, so my proposition is not as radical as it first appears.Doctors, make ethical ‘life & death’ choices on daily basis and we don’t raise an eye-brow.

So where resources are stretched, why aren’t Health Boards using the discretionary powers available to them to allocate care to those who want it first?As an example, Catholics would automatically go to the bottom of IVF treatment.

Automatically no free contraception for Catholics either.

After-all their own ethical representatives have fought tooth and nail to get IVF banned. Yet, when it suits them Catholic couples will seek out the very-same treatment that they tried hard to prevent – so it’s hard to feel sorry for them. Besides they can call on their local Priest to assist (no, not in a Biblical sense but a pastoral role if that’s what you thought I was inferring to? Although I guess the first premise isn’t entirely out of the realms and would take some pressure off choir-boys)

Why shouldn’t a grateful, appreciative couple who wants a baby and have no objection to IVF treatment get priority over a couple who aren’t at all enthusiastic about the treatment due to ethical grounds?Further, the outcomes from couples who embrace a treatment such as IVF, are surely going to be more positive overall than those who are skeptical, and acting under duress, facing outside pressure to reject the ungodly procedure.

Based-on experience health-providers have a fair-idea which of the couples in this example are more likely to miss appointments, so precedency is both of benefit to the doctors and nurses but also ultimately the maligned, stretched tax-payer.

Our medical practitioners already respond to religious/cultural beliefs.Hospitals bow to pressure from the superstitious, giving them their own separate areas, actively assisting a policy of sectarianism and supporting a policy of privilege writing-it into law.

Jehovah Witness’s for example, are given the right to die rather than submit to a blood transfusion.

The religious precedent is already in existence – I’m merely taking the same entrenched statutory privileges bestowed on religion to their logical conclusion. Asking for exclusive rights is not a one-way street and should come with barbs.

If you don’t want stem cell treatment – we won’t give it to you.

If you don’t want fertility treatment – we won’t give it to you.

If you don’t want contraception – we won’t give it to you.

If you don’t want an abortion – we won’t give to you.

No exceptions.

Just don’t bother asking retrospectively for any of these things if say you are a Catholic, unless you want to pay or want to wait at the bottom of a long list.

We would then have the foundations of a separate health-system, only you and I wouldn't be funding the religious hospitals where the mortality rates would be on par with Cambodia.

Hypocritical theists can’t have it both ways when it comes to medical treatments that apparently so upset their invisible God ‘Yahweh’ and his emissaries on earth. On one hand theists can’t ask for a separate places to pray and do their thing at hospitals, demand rights that permit 'their own men' on-to the ward at the tax-payers expense, then in the next breath announce “we are the same and demand the same treatment.”

If all these two-faced theists all had true belief in their convictions, like say the witless but gutsy Jehovah Witness’s, there would be plenty of spare hospital beds for us Atheists, and over-flowing cemeteries with crosses on the graves.

So what is wrong with giving priority treatment to someone who wants it, over say someone who wants it stopped full-stop, or objects to it on ethical or religious grounds?

If it is exclusivity through extra rights, they want – let’s give it to them.

Let’s embrace those who abandon reason & science for superstition as it frees more beds for those who appreciate it.

Let the Hospitals and health-providers play their bluff when it comes to modern treatments that upset their sensibilities, let’s give them what they want & fought for.

It’s also high-time for theists to practice what they preach and abdicate themselves from mainstream medicine and get back to basics.

That’s to say: prayer and leeches.

Death with Dignity is back in the public arena and there is, I feel, a genuine ground-swell of support from Kiwi’s for some form of euthanasia to be on New Zealand statute-books (N.Z Herald Poll a massive 82% support from received from respondents)

But I know, realistically, this will never become law whilst we have National in power.

Back in 2003 Peter Brown (N.Z First) proposed his ‘Death With Dignity Bill’ and MP’s voted by conscience for it’s inception, rather than say Party lines. At least that was the way it was suppose to work in principal.

In practice most Nationals MP’s (added and abetted by United Future) voted against the bill, and as a result was it failed to pass by the close margin of 60 votes to 58.

Let’s take a look at the some of those, then opposition, National MP’s that voted ‘No’ seven years ago:

Christchurch Christian School Sacks Gay Sports Coach – for simply being Gay!

In February Middleton Grange School in Christchurch, hired a 28 year-old guy to coach their girl's netball team (footnote: a male coaching a female sport like netball was surely a warning sign in itself?)

In case you are not from Christchurch, Middleton Grange is open to Christian children ONLY.

But mind-you - not just any Christian brats qualify - no siree.

Oh no, according to the righteous God-fearing folk who run Middleton Grange - Catholic’s need not apply.

Don’t even ask if your spawn happens to be an Atheist, Hindu or one of the other heathens doomed to ultimately burn in hells flames.

So back to the matter in hand - as it turns-out the part-time Netball Coach happens to be gay, and this touchy-fact gets back to The School Board.

As you would appreciate all Christians hate homos, and New Zealand is no exception to backward bigotry. Nothing gets a Christian zealot more worked-up than man on man sex and people spilling their seed for the fun of it.

The School Board at Middleton Grange was faced with the terrible realisation of having released a real-life sodomite onto its hallowed-grounds.

Their romper-festooned virgins needed protection from this inherently sinful man (not in a Biblical sense of the term of the word ‘man’)

So they simply fired him.

The coach departs to another school and subsequently complains to the Human Rights Department who rightfully demand that the School apologies. Middleton Grange also ended-up paying him reparations.

What is rather ironic in this whole affair is how on one-hand The New Zealand Government sees sexual discrimination as a crime worthy of admonishment, and yet in the next breath it is happy to allow Schools like Middleton Grange to openly discriminate based on a child’s beliefs?

Aussie Catholic School-Boys go-on Queenstown Crime Spree.

Xavier College is a Jesuit school and one of Melbourne's most elite private boys Catholic colleges. Its fees are about NZ$18,000 a year so clearly the snobby Papist parents of brats who attend Xavier College, are well able to pay for an overseas school-trip to New Zealand for some outdoor recreation (read: skiing) and the accommodation-bill at the towns four star Goldridge Resort.

Evidently 16 boys from a total of 30 pupils, aged 14 to 17, saw the overseas-trip as a green-light to exhibit feral behaviour befitting of Jesuits – by undertaking a mass coordinated shop-lifting spree the day before their plane was due to fly them home.

The sixteen teenaged Catholic criminals roamed the streets of Queenstown on Saturday and stole clothing worth NZ$6,000 from at least seven stores.

Ultimately their thieving was detected by shop-owners and The N.Z Police became involved, as were the embarrassed teachers.

All the boys bags were searched and Queenstown police returned recovered stolen goods to businesses yesterday. Compensation for the clothing damaged when the boys tore off the security tags, was also paid for – by the schools representatives.

Remember folks: Catholic Education makes better citizens.

Television programmers take head of this idea for a reality show.

An anointed representative of every religion on the planet lines-up for a 12 hour televised ‘boom or bust’ experiment with a global audience measured in the billions.

Trust me - this will be the biggest T.V program ever screened!

Catholics, Baptists, Jews – you name the superstition – as long as they believe they have a telephone-line to God – there’s a place for their chosen warrior on the show (think ‘David’ in the story with Goliath) In-fact this is one show they couldn’t afford to miss.

Oh yeah, there will also be one Bonobo Chimp as well.

The chimp will be representing the non-believing heathens.

The religious representatives are all lined-up and then given a set of six dice (specially manufactured and tested, then randomly drawn from a lotto type machine on the day)

The chosen warriors of God plus the chimp then have 12 hours to throw as many sixes as they can – an average count of which will determine the ‘winner’ (rest assured it will be all above board and it won’t simply be a matter of the individual who throws the most dice but the average result)

The representatives and their supporters watching at home will be encouraged to evoke Gods support for their cause.

Believers will be motivated to prove to the world it is ‘they’ who have Gods favour above all others.

What Evidence would it take for you to believe a Tyrannosaurus was roaming your city?

The media is abuzz with reports of the alleged sighting of a T.Rex roaming the forests on the outskirts of your city.

A family is adamant it was a five metre tall, fearsome giant lizard they saw in a wooded area only 10 kilometres from where you live.

Naturally experts are highly dubious at these claims a large carnivorous dinosaur had somehow survived human detection for the past 60 million years.

The media makes fun of the claims, satirising the passionate claimants reports.

Now imagine how you would react to these anecdotal assertions?

What corroborating evidence would you need for you personally to attest to the notion “a T-Rex is indeed on the loose”?

Pictures? DNA samples? Expert confirmation from biologists? Seeing the beast with your own eyes? A combination of some or all of the above?

Now replace T-Rex in your mind with the word/concept of ‘God’ (as in the popular Abrahamic notion of the term)

As outlandish as the stories of a T-Rex running loose in local forests sound, they pale into insignificance when placed against the idea of a super-powerful all-seeing interventionist 'being' who created all life in the universe, existing undetected, watching & influencing all activities – from the birds in the sky to the deepest ocean – from birth to death and then even into the after-life.

Why is the stringent evidence even a layman needs to corroborate say a modern-day T-Rex, never applied to quantify the far more unbelievable being(s) known as ‘God’?

God Texts Fijian Pastor about impending Disaster!

There’s one thing to be said about the ‘Interim Fijian Regime’ (read: Military-Lead Government) – they don’t take fools lightly.

For the last month or so Pastor Laione Lutumaimuri Nacevamaca (above) and his side-kick Bill Govaka (ironically the one time former head of The Fiji Visitors Bureau) have been telling anyone who is interested, that a major natural disaster was about to hit Fiji – specifically 2:30 pm on Wednesday (23rd) this week.

The reason why the time/date is so specific is because it was God that personally told Pastor Nacevamaca, by way of his cell-phone clock.

That’s right: God telepathically communicated with Nacevamaca, then texted him!

“This is the date and time, mark it on your calendar” is what the excitable & delusional Pastor told the local press.

Sadly there were large tracts of the Fijian populous that believed his prophecy, so when whole villages began moving to higher-ground, tourist resorts were cleared following warning emails sent by Govaka, business’s & schools closed to avoid the impending disaster(s) - the Government acted decisively - by arresting & imprisoning the pair on Tuesday for spreading rumours.

Nacevamaca is charged with maliciously fabricating and spreading by way of mouth that there would be a tsunami, earthquake and strong winds, causing public alarm.

Mr Gavoka was charged with spreading the rumours by e-mail about the tsunami and earthquakes and causing public alarm.

Needless to say the time/date passed without either a ripple on land or sea, nor more than a warm sea-breeze.

Whether God bothered to text Nacevamaca to say “sorry for standing you-up” has yet to come-out.

Why are American Sporting-Teams so Fucking Useless?

Why is it, that by-in-large American sports-fans are so insular?

Why don’t American sporting teams take pride in representing their country – is it because no one back home gives a rats-arse even if they do well?

More importantly why are American sports teams, with their vast financial resources, so fucking useless?

Whilst most of the planet is embracing The (one true) Football World-Cup, the whole scope of tournament has typically escaped vast tracts of America.

The easy, glib answer to this is of course ‘Football (ooops ‘soccer’) is not a big sport in ‘the states’ even though in reality there’s 18 million players, and it’s the largest participant sport for kids.

By the way neither is football it a ‘big sport’ in New Zealand, but yet the whole country still gets behind its team.

Now go & ask yourself - "what are the ‘big team sports’ in America?"

Well there’s basketball, which it has to be said is a global sport, and with all those NBA players, billions of bucks floating around, surely the U.S should clean-up at every international tournament they turn-up at?

Boy, have I got news for you - the current world-champions are Spain and the tournament before that it was Yugoslavia. The U.S hasn’t been World Champs at basketball for 18 years!

Ice-Hockey, now that’s a popular team-sport in North America.

It goes without saying The U.S must be competitive at The World Ice Hockey Tournament - right?

No, they have performed abysmally and last made a final fifty years ago!

What say Volleyball, another global sport, popular in American schools and colleges?

In the sixty years, no American team (men’s or women’s) has even made the finals at a World Champs.

So what other global team sports do Americans play to any great degree?

Sorry I can’t for the life of me think of any?

Baseball does have a World Championships – but it’s similar to running a so-called World Series - played amongst such a small gene-pool to be unworthy of the mantle ‘World’.

Don’t even suggest American Football – probably one of the worlds least played sport when it comes to countries who participate. Is there even a American Football team as such?

So the only conclusion one can make is Americans don’t care about World Championships and their athletes, teams aren’t interested in succeeding on the world sporting stage at events every-other country takes seriously

They are too interested playing amongst themselves.

Blood-Sucking Elim Church takes disabled-mans Life Savings!

This is a Napier rest home resident Whetu Abraham, 54, a partial tetraplegic with head injuries, the result of being hit by a car in 1986. What also makes him further vulnerable is his lack of family – basically he’s a loner with obvious ‘issues’ and sadly little to no immediate support.

Over the last two years Abraham has donated his entire life saving to the Napier City ‘Oasis’ Elim Church, in the belief he was in-effect buying his way into heaven.

When she learned of what was happening the rest home manager, Lucy Dever, tried to intervene on Abrahams behalf with the churches pastor Bruce Collingwood, and make him aware that Mr Abrahams survived on a sickness benefit and was not in a position to be granting them six-figure donations, let alone his entire nest-egg, given he has no other income source.

Pastor Collingwood dismissed her protestations and banked the monies (approx NZ$20,000) telling Dever dismissively it was Abrahams choice.

I ask you what sort of person is this ‘man of god’ Pastor Bruce Collingwood?

What sort of organisation could take the last cent of a vulnerable person – a man clearly not fully in control of his facilities, down on his luck?

The Napier Oasis Church should be hit where it hurts them most i.e. in the pocket.

Their charitable status should be immediately cancelled.

1.) Fans actually get passionate about football and don’t sit like mannequins in their seats chanting like they all have downs-syndrome
2.) The skinny white guys can get in the team, as well as the odd skinny Maori or two (interestingly there were five Maori players on the field against Italy at the end of last nights game and only two playing for The All Blacks on Saturday, no calls a Maori version of the national anthem either)
3.) When you play a meaningless international game of football they call it for what it is – a ‘friendly’ and not a ‘test’.
4.) The 76th ranked nation can draw against the World-Champs (imagine The South African Rugby team failing to beat The Cook Islands!?) A bird-bath has more depth than International Rugby.
5.) The World Football Cup is a ‘World’ Cup and not a beefed-up Commonwealth Tournament.
6.) New Zealand Football doesn’t need to raid The Pacific Islands for its players.
7.) Rivalry in sport generally means some sort of historic competition between two players/teams, rather than miss-matches eg. Everton versus Liverpool. Wales last beat New Zealand at rugby fifty-seven years ago meaning most New Zealansers weren't even born when the term 'rivalry' had any significance in the context.
8.) When New Zealand Football team plays at The World Cup the team over-performs pundit’s expectations. When The All Blacks play at a World Cup Tournament traditionally they under-perform.
9.) You can actually understand the rules of football and the basics of the game don't change season by season and one hemisphere plays by one interpretation and the other by another.
10.) Football is an international language and at this very-moment most people on this planet will know New Zealand is in The World Cup and doing bloody well! It’s currently one of the head-line stories on CBS Sport, ESPN, Telegraph, Guardian, The Sun etc. How many would know about the so-called 'test' in Dunedin?

Are all Catholic Priests by definition Effeminate, Head-Cases?

Good Catholic Children Don’t Jump in Puddles

The mission statement from St Francis de Sales School in Wellington reads:

Showing scant regard for human decency and total disrespect for the dead The Vatican ordered the heart of the original St Francis’s to be ripped from his corpse. De Sales ‘ticker’ is now on display in Rome for the morbid fools to drool over. Mind-you when you think The Catholic Church worships a zombie and ritually drinks his blood – having century old bodily parts strewn about the place seems almost ‘normal’ for this lot.

Perhaps the school in New Zealand that bears his name could ask Rome for some of St Frances heart?

Here we have a primary school that has placed a ban on something that is intrinsic childlike behaviour - jumping in puddles.

New Zealand says no to Jewish Tradition of Animal Cruelty

In the past religions have had a free-reign in New Zealand to get away with abuses no other sector of society can claim as part of their innate rights being a citizen of this country.

The right to discriminate based-on gender or sexual orientation are two of the more obvious ones still permitted.

Gradually these historic ‘rights’ Governments have granted to one sector of society over another, are being whittled away.

This week New Zealand took another step towards becoming a truly secular country when it banned the inhumane slaughter of animals under the guise of religious practice.

Overnight the Kosher slaughter of lambs and chickens (a ritual called shechita) came to an end here in New Zealand and attracted the ire of the local Hebrew community both here and in Australia.

The president of The Organisation of Rabbis in Australasia, Moshe Gutnick, put all his cards on the table when he said “The science is wrong, but even if the science wasn’t wrong it infringes on the religious rights of the community.”

Basically Rabbi Gutnick was saying “So what it’s cruel - our religion dictates we treat animals in this primitive fashion and that over-rides the rule of the land.”

Gutnick and the Jewish community of New Zealand can of course import Kosher meat, or if they are still smarting from having to follow the same animal welfare laws as the rest of the country – simply go live some where else.

If you think New Zealand is intolerant - try Iran for size.

Yet again, New Zealand has topped The Vision of Humanities ‘2010 Global Peace Index’.

In a repeat of last year, it’s exclusively the secular countries (below) that are revealed to be the most peaceful.

Just like last year we get to see that the war-mongering countries on this planet are in-fact those inhabited by a population that largely embraces religion and superstition.

The facts are damning and the only conclusion one can make is - if more people dropped their religious hatred and primitive superstitious behaviour – the planet we inhabit would be a safer place.

New Zealanders are very self critical, and I’m contrite enough to confess, at times. I’m the first to employ my own self-imposed list of foibles upon fellow Kiwi’s.

Then something comes along that makes you proud to be a Kiwi.

Something, may be, small in the relative scheme of things.

Some event or act that exposes that Kiwi fortitude, and ‘can-do’ attitude which makes New Zealand still one of the best places on the planet to live.

To me this renewal of Kiwi pride came in the form of the recent ‘Tranz Alpine Scooter Rally.’

Saturday May 29 saw 230 brave & hardy scooterists buzz out of Christchurch mostly on tiny 50cc scooters bound for the wintry Southern Alps and over to the South Islands West Coast - 250kms in roughly 10 hours.

In one-word the weather was “crap” that weekend and there was snow on both mountain passes (check the video out).

This is motorised version of The Coast to Coast Endurance Event also doubles as a fundraiser for the The Cancer Society & their efforts, a week or so back, raised over a hundred grand for a fine cause.

The individuals behind this event should be the ones getting awards and not some stuffy-old Judge or god-bothering band promoters.

May this event prosper.

The only reward fitting for vile Christian Music is banishment!

When they were notified of their inclusion in The Queens Birthday Honours List, husband & wife team Mark and Christine de Jong admitted to the media they were both “slightly embarrassed.”

Correction time: every New Zealander should be embarrassed with their award.

Whilst true Kiwi musical pioneers like Roger Shepherd (Flying Nun) go unheralded, except by those who have a clue about musical heritage in New Zealand, the country pays tribute to a two minor players in the local musical scene.

The de Jongs are apparently ‘stars’ in the Christian music scene.

Now go and name me one Christian band from New Zealand?

Like Christian music every-where on this planet – no one with a real interest in contemporary music takes their lolly-water musical-masquerade in the slightest bit seriously.

Getting an award for Christian music in New Zealand is like getting a School-Prize for Serbo-Croation.

That’s exactly why 99.9% of Kiwi’s didn’t have the slightest-clue who-the-fuck Mark and Christine de Jong were, prior to their award.

Don’t the dimwits who administer these sycophantic awards know that the teens that turn-up at their ‘Parachute’ concerts do-so because they are Christians and there’s chance of a sly-root? Not to hear the droll crap being inflicted on the crowds ear-drums by bands best suited for The Disney Channel.

If the de Jong’s had any integrity they would hand their awards back out and scuttle-back to their nepotistic waste-lands on the fringes of music.

Now as far as I’m aware there has never been a deliberate piece of vandalism in New Zealand by atheists targeting ‘you are going to burn in hell’ signs like this - or for that matter any religious signage.

Christian Churches such as ‘Bethlehem Community’ tend to forget, that Atheists by their very nature, don’t believe in their megalomaniacal and cruel god called Yahweh.

So local non-believers are hardly going to fall to their knees with fear, at the altar of this, or any church, when confronted with thinly veiled threats of Yahweh’s wrath.

Frankly most Kiwi atheists don’t give a fuck about church signs and ignore simply them.

What up-sets Kiwi atheists, myself included, is when ‘we’ unify as a group and want to place our own signs on public display, we face overwhelming objections to our right to free-speech – by the very group that trumpets their own supreme right to do so – even when it breaks copyright laws.

Christians see it as their right to say what-ever they like, hate minority groups via law exemptions etc but when they feel threatened they get cry-baby-like and gnash-teeth when presented with a counter arguments.

Christians in New Zealand then do what all religious groups do when threatened – they attack!

Christians even attack other Christian messages, as we saw occur in Auckland at Christmas, again over church signage.

Christians threatened those that would air the atheist signs – which just happen to be the local bus companies – forcing them to back down from their commitment to display the same signs that were run overseas.

So here we have Reverend Jim Wallace from Bethlehem Community Church now accusing DB Breweries of being “bullies” when they asked for the sign to be changed due to breech of copyright.

On the Radio Live interview this morning Reverend Wallace used the term “bully” no less than three times in two minutes and ironically drew-comparisions with the atheist bus campaign - which never got off the ground.

Well Reverend Wallace here’s a message for you.

Were the atheists of New Zealand to act in the same dogmatic, angry way the followers of your god behave – then your juvenile sign would have been ripped-down long ago.

You need to thank your vicious and cruel god, that thankfully Kiwi Atheists are more civilized and nicer people than his followers.

In his overseas publicity, amongst some of the numerous titles employed, Leo Schreven likes to be known as ‘The Energiser Bunny’ and ‘Master Zenith Trainer.’

Don’t ask me what a ‘Master Zenith Trainer’ is either?

Schreven has dropped both those titles for his New Zealand Tour and resorted to the Hollywood style “ Exciting teachers of life mastery” instead.

Nor does Schreven want the New Zealand public to outwardly know he’s a bible-banging, vehemently anti-Sunday worshipping, evangelical, and author of the worlds most corniest book-title ‘Rich God Poor God’.

The New Zealand public are being told simply that you can ‘Master Your Life in One Weekend’, ' Turn fear and failure into your friends' and ‘Find physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and financial success in a principle based motivation seminar’ etc.

These personal development seminars, coming to a Kiwi town near you, are being marketed by a company called ‘All Power Seminars.’ – not to be confused with ‘Free Go All Power’, ‘Goal Power’, ‘All Power Columbus’, ‘Master Vision Connections’ , ‘All Power Kids’ or ‘All Power Thinking’ which also happen to be part of Schreven’s empire.

Back home in Washington, Schreven is up-front advertising the company he heads as ‘All Power Ministries’ – but here in Kiwiland, Leo has conveniently dropped the God stuff from his front-line publicity – in order not to scare away the natives.

What would further scare the South Pacific natives back into the bush, would be a quick read of Schreven’s 1994 book "Now That’s Clear!" , in which he outlines that anyone who worships on a Sunday is in-fact worshiping the Beast and received his mark ($50 says it's 666) - doomed to burn in hells fires, along with your garden-variety atheist.

Yes indeed New Zealand, underneath the mask of being a motivational speaker of international repute, Schreven is a leading ‘end of times’ dooms-day propagator (refer You Tube Video below , go to http://www.goallpower.com/777/ where you’ll need to have your credit-card at the ready, or if you want a giggle, rather than renting ‘Mad Max’ tonight - why not google: ‘2300 Days, Tribulation and Judgment Hour’?)

But a filthy-rich speaker - it has to be said.

A globe-trotting millionaire which according to the public-record, runs many-of the numerous on-line entities he fronts – tax-free.

Big on ‘the end is nigh’, Shreven has toured The U.S Bible-Belt, telling the hicks about the impending dooms-day, and why they should immediately go into the lobby and buy his $49.99 tapes for the car, in-order to saved being burned in next Tuesdays apocalypse.

Revelations about raptures, plagues, Satanic councils running the world also appear at first glance, to be off the subject-matter for his New Zealand Tour – but given his pedigree they can never be far from the surface.

So it’s hardly surprising reports heralding of a new era of era of science – synthetic DNA - were meet with disdain by this backward group.

Nothing pisses-off theists more than when the foundations of their chosen superstition are yet again proven to be rotten –using the most cutting and effective ‘sword’ possible – fact rather than fiction.

This time the venue for these historic revelations and the further debasement of religious teachings, was genome-mapping pioneer, J Craig Venters laboratory.

His team’s project paves the way for designing organisms that work differently from the way nature intended for a wide range of uses.

Imagine if every week or so, you produced a ‘Press Release’ and sent it to the varying media-outlets, and then ‘hey-presto’ automatically they went ahead and published your pet-subjects & musings.

No questions asked, nor justification needed – the fact you think you are right and someone-else happens to be wrong - is enough for these releases to see day-light.

Your fringe pet hates & loves don’t need to be of concern to the vast majority of New Zealanders either – they will still turn-up on page four of most daily newspapers.

It could be something as trivial as an advert for Viagra that get’s up your nose, or the promotional activity of a Pizza company.

As ridiculous as this scenario first appears, it happens to be the current reality of the forth estate in New Zealand.

Hardly a week goes by without the irrelevant, evangelical pressure-group Family First issuing a press-statement of some-kind – all of which are published, mostly without critical review and ‘of right.’

Last week it was promoting a return to corporal punishment in New Zealand Schools.

On receipt of the latest release, not one journalist asked pertinent questions like “will this mean the return of the days when 5 year-old Kiwi’s were strapped by teachers?”

Instead of facing critical analysis the ‘release’ and its predecessors were published all but verbatim.

Here is a brief ‘Readers Digest’ list of the sort of narrow-minded, predictable stuff pouring out of Family First, that has managed to garnish both air-time and type-set over the years since the group set-up in 2006, largely as a result of the former champion of its causes, Graham Capill, being imprisoned for child rape and indecencies.

Return of corporal punishment in schools, making prostitution illegal again, ban on abortion, leading advocates for the right of parents to smack their children, banning in-flight movies which are not G rated, banning the TV Series Californication, wanting Gays to be prevented adopting children, promoting abstinence for teens, encouraging mums to stay at home and look after their kids, banning Boobs on Bikes, preventing brothels setting-up in residential areas, chastisement of Broadcasting Standards being too liberal, fighting the right for people to die in dignity, wanting cervical cancer vaccine distribution to be banned, continuing a ban on Easter Trading, placing the rights of married couples above those who choose a civil-union, varying attacks on The N.Z Family Planning Association to do with the distribution of contraception and access to abortion to the point they have even formed a splinter-group dedicated to the closure of Family Planning , fighting the right of parents to choose the sex of their child where there is a medical reasons like a genetic predisposition to a deformity, banning the video game ‘Grand Theft Auto’, highlighting child sexulisation e.g., pretend bra’s for 10 year olds, demanding the judge who let a naked-cyclist off with a warning should lose his job, wanting a Wellington’s shops adverts for sex-toys and bondage gear banned, fatherless families leads to more crime, wanting the internet to be censored, demanding a controversial Church bill board be removed last Christmas, denying Gays the right to marry or have a civil-union, wanted radio adverts for ‘the morning after pill’ to be banned, banning adult magazines in petrol station, banning The Atheist Bus Advert Campaign, getting a ‘clothing optional beach’ closed etc.

The list goes on ad nauseam, but you get a fair idea of the type of stuff Family First are all about & the New Zealand media can’t get enough of this sort of crap.

‘Banning’ and ‘prevention’ are high on Family First’s agenda.

Who takes seriously a group, with less membership than my suburban soccer club, who want to ban on one of the world’s most popular video-games and censor the internet so we can become like North Korea?

A sad minority, group that wants homosexuality to again be outlawed in New Zealand and nationwide cancer-prevention and birth-control policies scrapped.

A petty-minded bunch of bible-bangers with nothing better to do than complain to BP and Shell about girly-magazines on the shelves of their outlets.

An indication of just how out-of-touch Family First are with mainstream New Zealanders - they would rather a couple had a child live with birth-defects than allowing them access to medical-science that could prevent these defects occurring in the first place.

These Old Testament zealots even see it as their ordained ‘right’ to tell other Christians what they can and can’t have outside their church!

The New Zealand Media should treat any sort of broadcast coming from Family First with the derision and scorn it deserved, by placing it straight in the rubbish-bin.

Above all the media should stop giving these bigoted, creationist, flat-earthers, ‘the oxygen’ they need to exist – publicity.

God's honest truth: The Fall from Grace of Graham Capill.

The fall from grace of United States evangelists Ted Haggard and George Rekers, are well known around the globe and bring a smirk to the face of any self-respecting secularist.

In 2005, New Zealand experienced a similar case of the Christian moral guardian ‘life of lies’ being exposed, and in this case his plummet from the moral high-ground, resulted in a ‘crash’ more spectacular than both Haggard and Rekers put-together.

'He' was Graham Capill, and for twelve years prior to his imprisonment for 12 years he led the fundamentalist Christian Heritage Party. At its peak, his Christian Heritage Party fell short of getting into Parliament by only a fraction of a decimal point at the 1996 general-election.

Four years later the parties support had dropped to 1.4 per cent – a decline Capill put down to a plot within Television New Zealand to deny him adequate coverage.

Frustrated at their lack of political success Christian Heritage/Christian Coalition had for some time sought for the threshold of 5 per cent (of party vote) to be reduced.

Over the years Capill has railed against erotic art, prostitution, the size of penises on Maori carvings, homosexuality, gay parenting, a mock crucifixion on Kiwi soap-opera ‘Shortland Street, pornography, The Toyota “bugger” adverts, South Park (both the series and the film), Hero Parade, Marilyn Manson’s tour, the child-smacking ban, liberalised prostitution, Dr Nitschke's visit to New Zealand, the paintings of Keith Haring, Virgin in a Condom sculpture, Family Planning distribution of condoms, award winning children’s book featuring two lesbian characters, the chief film censor, Ministry of Women, a workshop organised by The Post Primary Teachers Association for homosexual members, The United Nations, Repubilcanism, de-facto marriages, free birth control etc etc.

In December 1999 when asked to comment at the number of cabinet members who refused to swear on the Bible at their inauguration, he said it was "ominous (sign) for the country's future".

The month before, he warned New Zealanders of the "terrifying social crisis" – abortion, crime and single parents.

Capill was a staunch supporters of a ban on Easter shopping pointing to New Zealand’s Christian principles (1997) as the basis for continuing with the archaic tradition to deny business’s the right to open when they so choose. He also was the chief supporter of the right for parents to smack on the same-basis of Christian traditions and stated (29th January 1997) “God had given the power and responsibility to parents to train their children and sometimes smacking and strapping was called for”.

Capill, the man who was at one time in The Police Prosecutions Section in his capacity as a lawyer and is on record calling child-molesters “evil” – plead guilty (July 2005) to rape, unlawful sexual connection and three counts of indecent assault charges against two girls under 12.

Like Haggard and Rekers, Capill believed that gay people were inherently evil and could be ‘cured’ through Christian re-education.

At the same time Capill was calling for the introduction of Christian chastity programme for secondary school pupils, in which boys and girls would pledge to abstain from sex until they found a life partner, he was abusing an eight year old girl. One of his three victims (the oldest was 12) was a pupil at the Christian college at which the church minister-turned lawyer was preaching and ironically counselling as well.

“Anyone who uses children as a pawn in a game is playing for high stakes and needs to be careful," is what he told New Zealanders in 1999 in criticism of a radio competition run to ‘create a baby’.

In his trail summing-up, the judge highlighted the warped mind-set of Capill in respect to this victim, and his inability to distingush the boundaries between adult and child "You told the probation officer you were feeling lust and excitement when you were with (the victim). You had a high level of sexual arousal and your purpose was to get her to the point where she wanted sexual intercourse.”

Further evidence of Capills dangerous mental condition came out in an email to friends, in which the father of 10 said that sex with one of his young victims was consensual. In the same email he asked his friends to pray for a lenient judge and prison term before his sentencing.

As a boy he played violin with the National Youth Orchestra and also played the organ in Christchurch Cathedral.

In the court the day of his sentencing was spokeswoman for Lesbian Action For Visibility in Aotearoa, Ann Charlotte, a Christchurch woman who for years was dubbed "sexually perverted" by Graham Capill who made sure she was on hand to witness the fall of the now-disgraced moral crusader.

When I last heard Capill comes up for parole shortly.

Justifiably prior applications for parole have been refused.

Pope 101: “Don’t mention the historic genocidal tendencies”

Pope Benedict should start taking heed that, like their Italian crime syndicate rivals ‘The Cosa Nostra’, The Catholic Church has never been shy of ‘snubbing-out’ it’s errant leaders, where they have become a liability. Benedict would know full-well that some-where between 8 to 13 of his predecessors have become expendable victims of ‘in-house hits’, and that the last time it happened was less than 25 years ago.

He can also forget playing the dementia card as well – being mentally incapacitated has never been an impinging trait for being a pope – most Catholic expect their pontiffs to come old, doddery, feeble minded and incapable of controlling their bodily functions.

What does ‘up-set the horses’ within the different tares of Catholicism is when the pope himself begins to ‘air the churches dirty laundry’

It’s happened twice in two days.

Firstly Benedict admitted it wasn’t actually the Jews, devil, homos, secular society etc that lead the Catholic Church to become the world largest homosexual pedophile syndicate – it was The Church itself that was ‘the root of all evil.’

Then to follow-up this gaff up, just a day later in his speech to Portuguese faithful he urged them to re-invent their country and re-create their glorious past.

This ‘glorious past’ happens to be the wholesale enslavement, murder, rape and subjugation of fellow humans in the name of Catholicism.

In a re-write of history that puts David Irving to shame, Benedict dismissively termed Portugal’s colonial role butchering and enslaving African, Asians, Central & South Americans in their millions, as a “sense of (their) global responsibility.”

If Benedict wants to live to wear ‘the blessed incontinence nappies’ he needs to take another look at his ‘user manual’ and be re-minded there are some subjects that have become politically incorrect to mention, outside The Vatican smoking-rooms.

Historic church policies like infallibility, extermination of The Jews, rape & plunder of inferior races, inquisitional torture of heathens etc – all need to now be kept under wraps.

Benedict (a.k.a Basil Fawlty)is on thin-ice here and clearly a liability to The Catholic Church, when he talks about ‘the good ol’ days’ of enslavement of heathens & admissions the church is a rotten edifice – and all in public!

Circles within The Catholic Church have invented a new term to describe & alienate sectors of secular society.

They are now to be known as an “Irregular.”

I’m now awaiting my 'yellow star badge' in the post from Italy and my wife has her needle & thread to sow it to the front of my jersey.

Naturally on-top of the “irregular” list are homosexuals, but also criminals and anyone else who doesn’t tow the churches line will also fall into the undesirables drawn-up by Italian Bishop Francesco Nole.

That’s him in the above photo.

I just wish someone would tell him dressing in permanent ‘fancy dress mode’ is rather gay behaviour in its own right.

To my mind, it’s kind of an "irregular" thing to do - for a male to wear frocks and an oversized rappers crucifix.

Anyway, Bishop Nole and his inner cliché of hardliners rationalize that because anyone who dies and isn’t a Catholic get’s to burn in hell anyway - they don’t deserve a funeral – so why go to the trouble?

Their first target is to push for a total ban on gay funerals.

It looks like The Westboro Baptist Church will soon have company on the funeral picket line.

Next on their ‘Final Solution to The Irregulars Question’ list, is not to recognize the weddings between two non-Catholics.

When you see this sort of twisted-rhetoric spewing forth from the highest quarters of Catholicism one truly has to wonder the mind-set of these so called ‘men of god’ - which is making Jim Jones temple in Guyana look positively inclusive and outward looking.

Another synergy is The Catholic Church and Fascist Dictatorships.

Take a look at my ‘off the cuff’ list of famous fascist dictators and you’ll see they all share a common-bond:

But what evidence is their The Catholic Church actively assisted these despotic regimes?

Well this definitive evidence of collusion is about to be produced!

The Vatican-sponsored support of Nazi Germany is about to be publicly revealed with the imminent release of German Government files from WW2.

The Vatican has fought ‘tooth and nail’ for these 4,500 pieces of paper, dubbed ‘The Eichmann Files’ to remain confidential, but a German Court has just ruled it is time for them to be scrutinized.

These papers will prove once and for all the links between The Vatican and The Nazi Regime.

The relationship between the highest ranking Nazi’s officials and their Vatican peers will be exposed in black & white for the world to see.

Benny Hill’s Ghostly Prediction from beyond-the grave comes true!

This is Baker Maurice Piner from Greymouth.

In yesterdays Christchurch ‘Press’ the neurotic populous of the region were told about the things going bump in the night in his bakery – and it wasn’t drunk patrons from The Railway Hotel on their way home.

Everyone knows when creeping shadows, unidentifiable sounds combine with a journalist after a sensationalist story – it’s gotta be a ghost!

And this is not just any run-of-the-mill spectre either.

Amateur West Coast historian Paul Schramm places Phil’s bakery on the same site as an 18th century boarding house & as it happens in 1891 a lonely Chinese miner called Ah Sing hung-himself.

Joining the dots, using a Ouija-board, yet another local historian Julia Bradshaw (clearly there’s not much to do at night in Greymouth outside genealogy) believes Ah Sing was overcome with guilt having stolen a watch from a mate and took the honorable way out at the time.

Bradshaw confirms, by way of thinly strung innuendo, it’s the ghost of Ah Sing who’s checking out the bakery's gluten-free loaves of bread and chocolate donuts, rather than rattling chains in some Scottish castle.

This story about Chinese miners of course is a total load of crap.

There is a much more logical explanation, an apparition prophesied by none other the demi-god of comedy – the late ‘Benny Hill.’

One could easily think a quaint ditty like ‘Ernie The Fastest Milkman in The West’ (1971) is little more than a amusing throw-away tune.

The Bare-Faced Lies of a Pope who both supported and fought for Nazi Germany

Taking a leaf out of David Irving’s book, Catholic revisionist historians have attempted to paint Benedict as a innocent young-man growing-up in WW2 Germany, a non-combatant who held an innate hatred towards the Nazi regime.

The known facts however tell us he, his brother and his family, were far from being reluctant participants – they even willing hid SS war criminals fleeing justice after the war’s end!

So let’s look at the historical facts versus the rhetoric spewing forth from The Vatican propaganda ministry.

Here’s the facts about Benedict XVI’s War-Time Record:

Fact One: Joseph Ratzinger has admitted the early victories Germany experienced in WW2 filled himself and his family with patriotic pride. Presumably had fascist Germany won the war this pride would have been magnified and he would have happily accepted a world living under Nazi tyranny and thus the total extermination ‘the inferior races’, particularly The Jews. Joseph Ratzingers patriotism and fervor faded only with the fortunes of the German armed-forces.

Fact Two: Georg Ratzinger, Joseph’s older brother and also a Catholic Priest who has admitted physically assaulting boys under his tutelage, served two years in The Wehrmacht (1942-44) He was wounded fighting Allied troops in Italy. Remember Catholic apologists want us to view the Ratzinger family as some sort of innocent by-standers caught up in the clouds of war – when Georg’s active military service is undeniable.

Fact Three: Joseph Ratzinger manned an anti-aircraft battery outside the BMW factory (Munich) in the later months of 1944 and early months of 1945. Military records for the "Flakhelfer"(part of the Hitler Youth) unit Ratzinger served-in show unequivocally he and his comrades were actively involved in repelling Allied bomber attacks. In one of the most ludicrous and almost farcical excuses possible, Ratzinger claims in his autobiography he wasn’t able to operate his weapon due to a “sore finger.” Here he is in the funeral-pyre that was Germany at that stage of the war, it’s cities in ruin and armies in retreat, occupying a battery with ideologically inspired teens and he turns to them and says “Sorry lads I’ve got a sore finger”. “I’ll think I’ll have to give this raid business a miss tonight.” Any fool can see this mediocre “sore finger” claim as being nothing but a bare-faced lie. After doing their duty in Munich he and his unit were then transferred to Innsbruck so in total Joseph served eight months in uniform – all with a finger affliction which apparently prevented him taking part as a combatant.

Fact Four: Joseph Ratzinger claims he never received a Nazi indoctrination at school and his teachers deplored the National Socialist doctrine. This is another untruth that can easily be dispelled. His head-master was an ardent Nazi and such studies were compulsory in Germany at the time.

Fact Five: Joseph Ratzinger (1944) watched Hungarian Jews being loaded into cattle-trucks on their way to be gassed at Auschwitz (Time Magazine Interview 6th December 1993) and did nothing to stop the greatest crime in the history of humanity.

Fact Six: Unlike the complicit Ratzinger clan several of their Traunstein neighbours bravely & openly resisted the Nazi regime. One of the locals in his old village Traunstein, Elizabeth Lohner, 84, whose brother-in-law was sent to Dachau as a conscientious objector, dismisses outright suggestions Ratzingers war-time story. “It was possible to resist, and those people set an example for others,” she said. “The Ratzingers were young and had made a different choice.” This is a living witness who saw Ratzinger and his brother (also a member of The Catholic Clergy) not, as anti-Nazi’s, but as young-men who went along with the system like millions of others. Other villagers who fought the Nazi’s were Valentin Hasselberger who ironically refused to fight due to his religious beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness: Rupert Berger who formed a local ‘White Rose’ resistance group and even the a local Catholic Priest called Joseph Stelzle, the son of whom Joseph Ratzinger knew well through his seminary. So for him and his family to say “resistance was futile” is again another easily proven lie.

Fact Seven: In June 1945 the Ratzinger family sheltered & hid two SS soldiers on the run from justice.

Fact Eight: Joseph Ratzinger was taken at the barrel of an American gun from his house and imprisoned by soldiers and then interrogated as to his war-time role. Clearly the American military didn’t see his as an innocent teen and saw the household as one which offered sanctuary to war-criminals.

Fact Nine: Virtually all of the entrants to The Freising seminary in 1946 served in The German armed-services & many still harboured Nazi sympathies.

So there we have some inconvenient truths The Vatican and Pope Benedict XVI to sweep- under-the-carpet as if they never happened.

Not all of us are that gullible – once a Nazi always a Nazi.

The schools protocols allowed only material that “reflected Bible values” like mass-murder, incest, talking snakes etc and rejected outright the secular-evils contained in one of the greatest master-works of the English language.

The term the school committee used to describe King Lear in Martins 'don't come Monday' letter was "corrupting and morally defiling".

Martin was deemed to be in the wrong by not running the play past the schools trustees for their approval – despite the fact it formed part of the national English curriculum and her requests for the school to fund the authorised version of the play were turned down by the very ‘powers that be’ at the same school that fired her!

Even the closest Catholic Church to my house had a case.

There are of course many other groups I can think-of that have such access and authority over children – both religious and secular.

Take for example humanitarian groups like The Red Cross and Save The Children.

These aid groups have access to vulnerable children on a mass scale, frequently-in places where the recipients are un-educated - the perfect hunting grounds for those that prey on children for their perversion.

Why isn’t the media full of “child sex scandals” surrounding say the ranks of The Red Cross?

Clearly there are other global religions – so why aren’t their ordained members abusing the children in their congregations on every continent?

Surely if the rate of child-abuse within Islam was on the same-scale as that of The Catholic Church – we would have heard about it – but because it happens so infrequently it’s a non-issue.

During his later years Brother Peter Burke was a round peg in a square hole.

As Australasian head of ‘The Order of St John of God’ he tried his best to deal with the hundreds of cases of intellectually disabled boys on both sides of the Tasman raped and abused by Catholic brothers within the order over four decades - handling these numerous complaints with honesty & openness accorded to the victims, police & media alike.

Burke didn’t cover-up and follow the protocols set-out by The Vatican at the time which was to keep things in-house and relocate the offending priest to a remote location. For his honesty and transparency Peter Burke was treated as a pariah by fellow members of The Order of St John of God.

Abandoned by his colleges as someone who didn’t tow the party line he spent his retirement in 2007 prior to his death in February of this year - alone in his Sydney one-bedroom flat – a broken man.

Contrast the scurrilous treatment Burke received as a ‘whistle-blower’ with that The Order of St John of God now lavish-on Canterbury’s biggest pedophile – Rodger William Maloney – the brother Burke helped bring to justice.

Since his recent release into the Christchurch community Maloney has being in the care of The Order of St John of God.

Maloney still maintains he is innocent of his years of offending to the point he is embittered that he was some-how personally hard-done-by by Burke and society as a whole.

Last week a shameless Maloney left prison and was welcomed back with open-arms by The Order of St John of God.

Never stripped of his priesthood Maloney has been ingratiated back into the very environment that spawned his abuse and wrecked the lives of hundreds of boys, now men.

When his 12 month parole in New Zealand is over, The Order of St John already have made plans for Maloney to be re-located to sunny Queensland to see out his days amongst his peers, who patently care little of his heinous criminal record and potential to re-offend given he still sees himself as the victim.

If anyone wonders why sexual abuse will never be stamped-out in The Catholic Church, one only needs look at this case.

All Catholics who believe he is innocent, should look-forward to his arrest and questioning by British Police, so all these baseless allegations made against him, can be put to rest.

What does an innocent man like him have to fear?

Even should British Police prosecutors feel there is a case to answer, Papal apologists who believe Ratzinger is innocent of covering-up sexual abuse within the Catholic Church, should welcome the chance for him to prove his innocence in an open court of law.

He would have the best team of defence-lawyers money could buy.

Ratzingers trial will be one of the biggest in world-history and his innocence or guilt could be measured in a court of law rather than the current ‘court of media’.

Things could be put-to-rest once and for all with such a trial.

Surely ‘justice’ is something that means something and is still in the vocabulary of The Vatican and the billion Catholics around the globe should be welcoming & embracing the prospect of Ratzinger facing his accusers and proving his innocence once-and-for-all.

Anyone who is trying to rally-against his questioning by British Police clearly thinks he has something to hide.

And to those who think that think Ratzinger is a head-of-state and can claim diplomatic immunity, they need a little history lesson that it was the fascist dictator Benito Mussolini that bestowed The Vatican the title ‘state’ and The United Nations doesn’t recognise their sovereignty any more than the Sea-Org head-quarters of The Scientologists in Florida.

A comprehensive, long-term study commissioned by the Catholic Bishops' Council in the United States found that approximately 4 per cent of ordained priests had sexual misconduct allegations made against them between 1950 and 2002.

This equates to a ratio one in 25 ordained priests, and let’s not forget most sexual abuse victims chose to keep their suffering secret, so the actual number/percentage would likely be greater than this, given these were only the priests reported-to Church authorities.

This sad & frightening statistic comes from none-other than the Catholic Church itself, and makes a mockery of apologists false & misleading claims that only “a small number of priests are involved.”

Confirmation that at least 1 in 25 priests faced allegations of sexual abuse goes to prove just how endemic and rife sexual deviancy is within The Catholic Church clergy.

Moloney abused over a hundred boys, many of them ‘special needs’ entrusted to his care, whilst he headed The St John of God residential-school, located in Oakland (Christchurch)

These are the known, reported victims of Father Moloney – doubtless the real-list of those who suffered at his hands would be much greater – the varying handicaps of the victims impinging further investigation.

Yet, despite being found guilty of mass-abuse , The Catholic Church paying over 5.0 N.Z Million dollars in compensation to his victims – Moloney still claims he is innocent and all the boys made-up the decades of assorted physical & sexual deviancy.

Father Maloney, is an unrepentant mass-pedophile with no parallel in Canterbury’s history who preyed on the most vulnerable of the vulnerable - yet perplexingly is considered by The Parole Board to now be ‘safe’ enough to be released back into the Christchurch community after serving less that one-third of his sentence?

The weak system of justice here in New Zealand having meant Father Moloney served less than four days prison-time for every one of his known victims.

And to rub salt into the wounds of these victims, many of which still carry the mental scars - where was it that the scum-bag Father Rodger William Moloney was recently paroled to?

Back to the care of St John of God - that’s where!

That’s right, as bloody unbelievable as sounds, the very group & place Moloney perpetrated all his numerous crimes was deemed to be the safest place for the community at large.

Clearly to anyone who looks at this case, St John of God was unable to stop or detect his abuse over numerous years when he last served in the Order, yet in a stunning decision The N.Z Parole Board now thinks this is the perfect place for his rehabilitation.

To further spit-in-the-face of restorative-justice the New Zealand public demands, once Moloney has finished his 12 months of parole at St John of God in Christchurch the order plans to whisk him-off to Australia’s Gold Coast where he can see out his days – still as a priest!

Father Marcial Marciel (1928-2008) is a Mexican priest who founded of the Catholic Orders ‘Legionaries of Christ’ and ‘Regnum Christi’ (think Opus Dei)

Marciel was also a sexual deviate with a taste for young boys & pre-pubescent girls, embezzled money, fathered at least six children - some of which he began fucking, abused drugs and had serious mental-issues – the perfect CV for one in such a pious and lofty position within The Catholic Church.

Most if not all of Marciels activities the current Pope, in his old capacity, knew was happening & did what we now know he normally did at the time....nothing substantive!

Championed by Pope Paul II (cuddly photo of both above)after founding the Legion of Christ in Mexico in 1941, Marciel built a vast network of schools, colleges, seminaries and lucrative real estate holdings. At its peak the Legion had an annual budget of US$650 million, more than 650 priests and 60,000 members all around the planet – a large number of which knew their leader intimately it appears.

His network extended to New Zealand and his ‘good work’ is carried on by Catholics in New Zealand to this day.

At one-stage Dunedin, apostolates from Regnum Christi even ran their own radio program to relay Marciel's ‘good-word’ to the peoples of Otago. Which parts of his doctrine these devotees espoused during this air-time is open to conjecture.

New Zealanders also flew to Rome which houses the H.Q of the Legion of Christ to seek Marciels personal instruction - even knelling in his presence and kissing his ring - both subservient acts many of those who had a private audience with him over the years, got to do (in a Biblical sense of the terms)

Empowered with their trip to Rome & taking a leaf-out-of their illustrious founders book (no doubt the pages would be stuck together & have a centre-fold) Regnum Christi members started a nationwide campaign amongst The Catholic Community of New Zealand for fathers and sons to bond together. These man/boy bonding sessions involve weekends away (I assure you, even I couldn’t make this sort of stuff-up!) and are rather appropriately, if not ironically marketed as ‘Conquest Events.’ (I promise you I’m not making this up!)

Indeed instructing children appears to be a major part of Regnum Christi’s modus-operandi in New Zealand. Their publicity trumpets ‘week long-summer camps for youth’, first communion programs for youngsters and some-thing they call ‘Priest Appreciation Evenings’. One boggles what-goes-on at one of these ‘appreciation’ evenings run by a group that falls under the banner of a lay-movement and is mandated by a lying, reprobate who liked nothing better than playing ‘hide the sausage’ with any kids he could get his grubby hands-on.

Obviously the credibility of The Regnum Christi and Legionaries of Christ sects in New Zealand is in tatters - permanently tainted with their founder’s sordid, ribald legacy.

It doesn’t take my jibes to tell them their days are over – their credibility is on par with a white-power skinhead group.

Immediate closure is their only credible option.

So what sort of cold-hearted person would deny couples like Natasha & Anish the chance to have children?

What sort of person could deny Zoe a life and brand this small 11 day-old baby as intrinsically ‘evil’ and tag her parents as 'moral deviants'?

Those callous heartless individuals happen to come with a title like ‘father’ or ‘sister’.

Those cold-blooded, semi-humans can be identified by dog-collars and habits – befittingly black in colour, like their hearts.

The gold-medal in the specialist event, known as: ‘the pot calling the kettle black.’

In other-words, those spoken yesterday by of none-other than Vatican spokesman Rev Federico, criticism of The Catholic Church is tantamount to the act of anti-Semitism.

That’s right peoples – the group with the longest and most bitter history of Jew hating and the prime faith of those who orchestrated the atrocity known as The Holocaust – wants to label and silence its detractors by labeling them as acting like anti-Semites!

As I said in my intro, this has to be the “richest” statement of all time.

Ironically this outrage and abuse of the true meaning of the term anti-Semite came on the same-day The Archbishop of Canterbury stated the Roman Catholic Church has lost "all credibility" over the way it had dealt with paedophile priests.

This anti-Semitism parallel is further proof, if it were necessary, that The Catholic Church has indeed no credibility.

No mandate to preach to anyone on any subject, given it is the world’s largest historic abuser of children, lead by an ex-Nazi who covered-up acts of this abuse.

North American Indian Tribe on a spiritual-mission to re-stock all of Canterbury’s Salmon!

About a hundred years-ago salmon were introduced to Canterbury from North America – to be exact they came from McCloud River in northern California – which has seen hard times lately due to damming, and now has low stocks of these fish.

Resultantly and not unsurprisingly, the native-American tribe from that area would like to see the descendents of the original quinnat-salmon back in the McCloud River.

A two-dozen strong delegation from The Winnemem Wintu tribe in California have just spent two weeks in Christchurch, four days and nights of which involved singing & dancing by the Rakaia River.

These ceremonies were an attempt to “re-establish the tribes relationship” with the fish.

Yes, members of the Winnemem Wintu tribe actually believe that their ceremony would re-home the stocks of N.Z salmon and they would ignore their genetic-programs & miraculously begin the 6,000 mile ocean-swim to California!

However well-intentioned this trip was it is clear to anyone with half-a-brain-cell the whole “spiritual journey” thing was always going to be a waste of time & money - some-thing to laugh about at the pub over a jug of beer.

But because of political correctness and the free-ride superstations of all kinds get in the local media – no one had the guts to starkly tell these folk “you are wasting your time.”

Instead we had to put-up with television reports which made the whole Red-Indian charade look like an episode from a nature-channel hosted by David Attenborough.

Local Fish & Game officers put aside common-sense and made fools of themselves by acting as guides.

Not one reporter in the media bothered to ask a fisheries biologist “what are the chances were of an entire population of salmon re-inventing enmasse their inbuilt migratory mechanisms instructing them to find their home ‘birth’ stream?” – because they knew damn well the unpalatable answer before asking.

Amongst this sycophantic reporting I was half expecting something like “I suppose you’ll call home using smoke-signals to save on tolls?”

No-one in this PC malaised-country openly had the guts to state out-loud the bleeding obvious “the emperor has no clothes” least they up-set the tribes right to act like superstitious bumpkins in the face of reality even a 10 year-old could see for what it is.

Footnote: In a concession to the 21st century it appears during their time-here the tribe hedged-their-bets by also investigating about exporting the eggs back home as well.

Family First (a.k.a Family Fist) have launched a nationwide billboard campaign to promote the benefits of getting married.

Now the term ‘married’ under the glare of the all-seeing eyes of Family First means in the sanctity of an ordained minister – preferably one of the Protestant denominations. In the small-print of their Old-Testament beliefs you’ll also find the concept of a marriage can never extend to same-sex couples either.

Yes, indeed this ‘shacking-up’ business must stop, or the country will be on the slippery slope to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Instead what we Kiwi’s need to do is look to The Bible to get our markers on the-sanctity-of-marriage in eyes of Yahweh (he’s a well known modern god by the way, who had a hit song a couple of millennia back)

Say a section of their best-seller penned by Yahweh called Deuteronomy 22: 28-29 for example:

28: If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29: Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

So any male who wants to go-out and commit rape, does so with the simple proviso he needs to marry his victim after the act(naturally all rape victims want to marry their attackers, eh) and pay her old-man a bounty.

Yes, indeed today’s editorial (excerpts above) in The Dominion Post certainty calls it like it is.

Here we have a mainstream New Zealand newspaper attacking the institution called The Catholic Church, suggesting it no longer has any credibility ‘preaching’ to society on a range of moral issues – when it is clear to the public the Church has operated at times in a deliberate amoral fashion.

Contrast this frank report in The Dom.Post with the sycophantic press-release from Bishop Patrick Dunn (Catholic Bishop of Auckland) that appeared in The New Zealand Herald on the same day.

Dunn indicates the media has wrongly targeted Benedict and he finds these reports “astonishing.” and goes on to-use that tied-old line “it was only a small number of priests.”

Dunn exhibits exactly the traits and arrogance that plague The Catholic Church.

In-fact the root-cause of its current, irrevocable demise.

Essentially Dunn believes in the centuries-old doctrine of papal infallibility – everything is hunky-dory & the church can do no wrong.

Mix this mind-set with a liberal dose of paranoia that The New York Times and Das Spiegel have somehow invented the stories about Ratzingers involvement in two cover-ups – including presumably the falsification of court documents, public records and the sworn testimony of dozens, if not hundreds of witness’s.

Dunn’s article is an insult to ones intelligence, born of ignorance of the truth - he refuses to see.

Watching this awesome video made-me-think how we homo-sapiens have an overly high opinion of ourselves, along with the planet we occupy.

We like to believe our species & the lump of rock we live-on is something ‘special’ and significant in the scheme of things.

Like f*ck!

Well I’ve got news for you, this planet, with the naff name Earth, and all the species on-it are in-fact a mere pimple on the bum of the vast universe – the share size of which is beyond any normal person’s comprehension.

So far mankind has only managed to reach our own insignificant moon – which is like traveling the equivalent of the width of a piece of paper on a journey from Christchurch, N.Z to Anchorage, Alaska.

Sooner rather than later, in the vastness of space, we will find evidence of other intelligent life – this is a certainty.

To think that some supernatural-being built our special ‘little house on the prairie’ along with every-other sun/planet etc floating in space and that ‘we’ are some-how the anointed off-spring of this being – is frankly ludicrous and the realms of b-grade sci-fi.

In-fact I’m going to go as far as suggesting anyone who believes a singular magic god-creature whipped-up the entire universe, like making a fondue for a large dinner-party – is delusional and a potential danger to the rest of society – unfit to have children in his/her care.

Open your mind to our place in the scheme of things - accept the facts with with grace.
